Yes, it works, but you'll have to install it yourself I'm afraid. The Installer and Configurator do not work for P3D.

Words I need to share with our Community
Damn ! :-( Tom, we may have had our differences but this comes as a blow.To me personally, to AVSIM and to the entire FS community worldwide I am sure. No need to waste words, just wishing you all the best and wishing you an ending without pain and anxiety. Thoughts also go to your family. Good vibes sent across the pond, whatever that may mean. Hope it helps a little. Warm regards, Francois

FranceVFR for Recommend?
No, the area consist of two products... the phototexture and mesh, and the autogen to cover it.

FranceVFR for Recommend?
I would recommend their Rhone-Alpes scenery really......... it makes the Alps come to life in a very credible way. I live in France parts of the year and can testify to the awesome quality of the products. Getting an entire region (WITH autogen!) will greatly enhance your reality level, and beats just getting a single airfield.

Computer Pilot Magazine
I must unfortunately confirm the last post here. I indeed left Computer Pilot (as did Pam, the lady taking care of US customers, and a number of the writers). I posted all this on the website - but not surprisingly, it has been brought down, and replaced by a rather bland and uninformative site. The forum is gone as well. I would advise AGAINST taking out new subscriptions at this time, even though I am supposed to get my back pay through those. There is currently nobody except Marc himself able to do anything on bringing out a new edition. Also the problems with shipping and the mess with the administration have not been solved either. I left because I simply could not afford to spend all my time for free on the magazine and website, but also because I did not want to be associated with the bad customer service that was and is being displayed. Not my style. I still hope Marc will find money somewhere so he can re-start the mag, but I am also afraid he'll have lost all the remaining goodwill by now - not to mention the great writers we had. Sadly, Francois

Francois leaves Computer Pilot
Dear Flightsim Enthusiasts, Readers and Customers, I would like to inform you that I have stepped down as Managing Editor of Computer Pilot (Magazine). As you know it is one of my hallmarks to deliver quality goods and services to clients. For the past 7 months I was actively engaged with Computer Pilot Magazine, its website, PR and forums and working day and night to get CPM back on its feet again for its new publisher. Unfortunately there were many unforeseen deterrents that were not under my control and to which I was unable to provide solutions. This was one of my 'dream jobs' and I am deeply saddened that it has now turned out to be impossible for me to continue at this point and under the given circumstances, where I cannot deliver the quality that I demand myself. I will 'return' to, and re-focus again on, my own business in the flightsim industry: FSAddon Publishing, SupportMyFS, AVClassic, WhyFly.aero and my web-design work. You can always reach me via the website and forum at www.FSAddon.com, our shop at www.Silvercloud-store.com, or any of the other many places on the Internet that I frequent. Also, my private email is at your service at [email protected]. Working on NEW projects already and excited about continuing to serve this wonderful global FS community of ours, I remain Respectfully yours, Francois A. 'Navman' Dumas

Computer Pilot Magazine
That's easy: I am the new Managing Editor (officially mainly doing the website, but reality often defies gravity, so I am doing the mag as well currently). Marc Goergen, owner of Maui Artwork in Luxemburg who also produce Flight! Magazin, is the new owner. You can read it all i this (and other) article on our new website here: http://www.computerpilot.com/the-magazine/what-happened/ And there's even an interview on-line at FS Breaks here: Hope this helps ;-)

Commercial news?
Thought, so, which is why I asked, but wanted to be sure. I am not really pretending to NOT be a commercial member

Commercial news?
Folks, I'm lost amidst so many forums and pages...... I've got a wonderful new product to tell about... but cannot find the 'Commercial Member' forum anymore. Where does one tell about a new FSX product? Best regards, Francois

Computer Pilot Magazine
Just stumbled on this today. Thanks Chuck ;-) Actually, I WAS on my motorcycle the day the OP posted his 'question'. And to which I might add: 'What's the question?' I am obviously not very good i cryptic things :-) As to the other post: yes, take-over and re-launch of Computer Pilot was (and IS) not an easy operation. We've gone into the why and who and when often enough and all information can be gleaned from our website (not surprisingly at www.ComputerPilot.com ) And we are NOT there just yet (although I hope MVZ will by now have stopped sending invoices and invoice reminders... shjeeeez !) The GOOD news is that MOST readers have finally found the first NEW magazine in their mailboxes all over the world !! And the ones who haven't, should report to [email protected] I know we've gotten a lot of flak (and some of it certainly deserved from a customer point of view) but we're still VERY hard at work to not only produce a great magazine but ALSO to get the back office stuff in order. Since it is only the two of us here and one lady manning the phone in the US, you can imagine we got our hands full currently ;-) We're not giving up yet and working on the second issue as we speak ! Cheers all !

Computer Pilot wants me to renew; ridiculous!
I am not officially going to tell you this, because I want confirmation from customers in the US, but I have seen a copy of a packing slip from France Post on August 2nd, listing copies of the magazine to all of the countries it should go to. So I am holding my breath - with all of you - to see if it will ultimately make it into the destined mailboxes...... so we can be more hopeful for the next - still delayed - issue of CPM ! We reckon we need 6 more months to get everything running like clockwork again. Thanks for your continued support of a great bunch of writers and fellow flightsim enthusiasts !

Computer Pilot wants me to renew; ridiculous!
Maybe, but that's not getting us anywhere, is it? Our interest is having a good magazine published again....... not yet another publisher going belly-up and leave all of us empty handed. Just my 2 cents.

Computer Pilot wants me to renew; ridiculous!
Indeed, the new owner has not taken over the 'obligations' but decided voluntarily to honour existing subscriptions. I am not privvy to the ultimate contract signed, assuming there was one. Obviously it is NOT the customer's fault....... NOR that of the writers or new staff. It really hurts to see THEM attacked. It also hurts to see the problems that popped up, but those can hopefully be addresses in a positive way. I don't think the new owner was aware of a number of things...... (among them the very large number of multi-year, already-paid subscriptions, the throw-away pricing that was offered to some subscribers, and also how to approach American consumers). THAT is one of the main reasons for the current problems IMHO. The magazine itself had a pretty good name and following, and hence was (and still is) interesting to continue.

No problem, Word Not Allowed, thanks. I usually don't even react to BS, but there are limits ^_^

Computer Pilot wants me to renew; ridiculous!
Dear Sirs Yes, excuse me, but after being in this hobby and serving these communities for many more years longer than even Avsim and its staff I DO take offense when being called corrupt. you're probably stuck in some time warp. It is very true that the new owner (and that isn't me, sorry) has run into MAJOR problems re-launching the magazine. But the subscription you took and didn't get honoured was NOT with him, so you should kindly direct your acid to where it is justified. I have also replied in detail in another thread here on Avsim, and also on our own forums and in multiple editorial articles on our website (www.computerpilot.com) explaining some of the major problems with getting the new magazine out to the subscribers. I KNOW the situation is far from ideal, I KNOW people paid (mostly NOT to the new owner) and I KNOW some of our readers went ballistic after receiving the umpteenth INVOICE from the German subscription company. LOTS of things have gone wrong so far. But.... NONE of those issues has been done on purpose, NO money has been made, just lost, and in no way do ANY of the writers and other staff deserve the abuse that posts like yours are delivering. Maybe next time you want to do some research and know what you are talking about, scratch your head and use your brains before starting to type on a serious forum. Sincerely, Francois A. Dumas

Computer Pilot Magazine
Thanks Bob glad Pam was able to find your details in the list. We're still not where we want to be and poor Pam is currently flooded with phone calls and e-mails, but I DO hope the German company keeps its promise and doesn't send out any more invoices now. I was assured that the shipping had started now, but I won't publish anything confirming until I hear from the first readers getting their magazine delivered. Talk about a difficult birth !
