Asobo Cessna 172 Classic Missing and another problem

Featured Replies

Hi,

After the SU5 Beta 2 Update the Asobo Cessna 172 Classic has disappeared.

But there's more. When I select a plane, it appears another different.

Anyone with the same issue?

Regards

Did you deliberately subscribe to the beta John?

Being in the beta will always bring uncertainly and potential problems. For maximum stability and reliability, the SU4 stable version is the place to be, in my view.

Hi, JYW,

I've subscribed deliberately to the beta (otherwise, it wouldn't be in it!). I've been in the betas since the beginning of MSFS 2024. And by the way, the SU betas -at least for me- haven't been any worse than the chaotic launch of MSFS24.

Of course that I'm aware of what it's like to be in the Sim Updates! I simply wanted to know if the problem I'm experiencing is also happening to other people or if it's just a problem of mine. That's all.

Fortunately, the plane I fly 95% of the time hasn't been affected by this issue.

So, yes, I'm going to continue in the beta.

Greetings

Hi John,

I've been following and enjoying your posts for a very long time 🙂  And I always try to help when you've had problems.   As members of hte community, we start to build a mental picture up of 'long-termers' like us, and I simply (wrongly) didn't have you down as a bleeding edge beta participant. 😄

Apologies for any unintended offence caused - I wasn't intending to patronise 👍

Hi, JYW,

No! My friend. Please don't misunderstand me. I appreciate your collaboration, interest, and clarification on the matter. If you've read some of my posts over the years I've been on the AVSIM forum, you'll know my approach is always to ask for information or help, or, if I can, to offer help or information. In this particular case, I think I didn't express myself well. I simply wanted to clarify something that perhaps wasn't entirely obvious.

Best regards.
