The troops here at Avsim tack developers to task as well as anyone without the need for YouTube garbage or Steam.

Sorry but the vast majority of MSFS users are consuming YT and Steam, which has a vastly larger audience than AVSIM. The official MSFS forums are also massively larger than AVSIM, and those users have expressed their frustration with 24 very loudly as well. Now, you may trust the reviews you read here more than those places, but we are talking numbers. This is a distinct minority relative to those sources.  They matter far more. And again, 24 has been destroyed. Steam has 11000+ user reviews with an average score of 45. That is terrible.

I turned it off once and for all. Imo it is a mess, especially if you are landing at an airport that is inside a PG area (Like Burbank, CA, USA)

For the type of simulation that I do and I think most of us do, believe me that is very unimportant, anyway the PG coverage of cities in MFS is ridiculously reduced if you compare it with the world coverage, it is much more important the airports and the other simulator also gives a lesson to Microsoft.

And speaking of Airport weren't they going to make an initiative similar to X-Plane with community contributions to airports? What was that about?

MSFS2024 has been destroyed? This will come as news to lots of people. Ah, the creative imagination of some AVSIM users is fascinating to behold  -- almost as entertaining as flying in my magnificent destroyed sim!
