January 16, 20251 yr Hi, everyone, I can't play the simulator because XBox does not load! I tried a lot of things: Repair XBox, uninstall XBox and install it again..., etc. Furthermore, I've done also everything Microsoft recommends (except reinstall Windows 11 from scratch which it will be the last option, of course!). Any hint? Thank you in advance!

Everything is updated; Windows 11, Xbox app, XBox services... you name it! Every time I play XBox, the error appears, and then it begins to update... after a very long time, the update ends and the error appears again! I don't want to reinstall Windows 11. It would be a nightmare, but...

I'm afraid that the only thing I have to do now is to reinstall Windows 11 with the option of keeping my documents and apps. (Cross my fingers!). Thank you for your support! I'm beginning the process now!
January 18, 20251 yr Author Hi, I had a terrible experience reinstalling Windows! I reinstalled three times, because the first and second time were a mess! So I had to format the drive and finally the third time it was all right. The install fo Fs24 was very very quick! But the binding of my controllers were lost forever. And the problem is that the sim no saves the settings, so… I’m having a bad time trying to solve this issue! I think is another bug that it must be correct! Greetings

Greetings I really thought control bindings were saved in the cloud to avoid your exact scenario... Theoretically the should be restored when you log back into your Xbox account? Theoretically the should be restored when you log back into your Xbox account? Hi, HiFlyer! First of all: thank you for your interest and help! Theoretically, yes, the control bindings I had "must" be in the cloud. But where? MSFS 2024 not recognizing them! Now, I've manage to restore manually some of the settings and finally the sim keeps them, but each time I launch the sim I have to go to Settings, Controls don't load (they say "None"). So, I have to select manually "My Airplane Settings" (or something like that, I can't remember the exact words now) for the joystick and throttle. However, the rudder pedal settings are retained, and I don't have to select them! Every time it's the same. But, at least I can play the sim. I've done several searches online and found that there are many simmers with the same problem. I think it's a serious bug (yet another one!), in the msfs2024 programming. Greetings
January 19, 20251 yr Sometimes the sim (2024) seems not to (down)load all the controller profiles from the cloud without giving any warning that it could not download them. Had the issue a while back, starting a flight and found the rudders to be very twitchy, like in the default settings. I had created a personal rudder profile with personal curves, giving it a name of my own, worked or always loaded just fine but that time it just wasn't there (my other personal profiles were there though). I had only access to the default one. So I created a new one, giving it another name but different from the first one. Next day, checked before my flight this time and the first personally created profile was back in the list as was the second one. The more I use 2024, the more annoyed I get by stuff I discover which doesn't work as it should be. Asobo has LOTS of work to do.
