December 28, 20241 yr If i place per say AIG AI downloaded models into my Sim objects folder or is there another way. Im trying to get the 757 and Airbus 220 injected models
December 28, 20241 yr PSXT is setup from install to work best with AIG. i7-13700KF, 32gb DDR4 3200, RTX 4080, Win 11, MSFS 2024

If you had loaded PSXT once where it ran a model scan, but then added AIG models after that, PSXT wouldn't have picked it up
December 28, 20241 yr Author Makes perfect sense no i didn't i will try that. I noticed AIGs site mentions these instructions and im not sure how this affects or doesn't affect this issue 1) Start AIM in 2020 Mode and close after it has fully loaded 2) Verify that AIM has renamed the OCI package in MSFS2020 to “aig-aitraffic-oci” 3) Copy the directory to the MSFS2024 Community folder (DO NOT COPY any other AIG directory!) 3.1) Copy-Item -Path “H:\MSFS2020\Community\aig-aitraffic-oci*” -Destination “H:\MSFS2024\Community\aig-aitraffic-oci” -recurse -Force -Verbose (Sample PowerShell command, Adjust the PATHS!!!!) 4) Start AIM in 2024 Mode
December 28, 20241 yr What sim are you using? You can't just copy and paste the AIG files into the Simobjects folder under community and expect it to work. i7-13700KF, 32gb DDR4 3200, RTX 4080, Win 11, MSFS 2024
December 28, 20241 yr Author Im sorry Dave i should have clarified I'm using MSFS 2024. I knew i was doing something wrong forgive my stupidity hoping you can help me in dummy terms on this one
December 28, 20241 yr Author From what the AIG Developers are saying see quote you should be able to copy and paste the the AIG OCI Beta over to the MSFS 2024 Community folder it seems like alot of different programs not talking to each other If you are unable to copy and paste which Windows 11 does seem to be having an issue with for some users lately then that would be a CMD instruction to use. If you were able to copy your aig-aitraffic-oci folder into your MSFS2024 community folder then you don't have to worry about it. Personally I did mine before he posted the CMD option and I ended up using robocopy which is also part of windows that I had never used before.

There is a separate MSFS2024 mode in the latest AIGTech - AI manager. Read the AIG Forum for instructions. Edited December 29, 20241 yr by kiek
December 30, 20241 yr Author Hopefully PSXT Developers and AIG Developers can get together to agree on how to install AIG into PSXT for now i will wait for proper instructions.

There is nothing to agree upon. The thing is how to install AIG in MSFS 2024. The instructions how to do that are in the AIG Forum and in a thread in the MSFS Forum at AVSIM. PSXT will find these liveries automatically if you scan for liveries with Automatic checked in the UI. It works like a charm. Edited December 30, 20241 yr by kiek
