So no additional apps needed whatsoever. Just putting it out there for any of the very few people on AMD Radeon 6XXX or 7XXX cards. With this implementation the only reason i would consider switching back to an Nvidia Card for MSFS is if there is a raytracing penalty present in MSFS2024. If there is none i'm getting a 7900XTX. I second that, having installed the preview driver with AFMF2 and done several flights using the Fenix A320. IN conjunction with AutoFPS to guarantee a decent lower limit FPS? it works great and didn't crash - which did happen often with version 1. 5800X3D, 64GB 3200 RAM, 7900 XT 20GB

Gonna give this a go as I was getting quite a number of CTDs with AFMF1.
August 8, 20241 yr I like Lossless Scaling very much. It's cheap and very easy to use, although I think it's a complicated piece of software. I was experimenting with it the other day and accidentally tried to use it on top of my V-Sync set to ON and 50% of the Monitor Refresh rate in the sim graphics settings, which normally gives me good 30 FPS almost everywhere, and with Lossless Scaling I'm getting constant 60 FPS almost everywhere, in different flight conditions, which is really good enough for me. I highly recommend it. August 9, 20241 yr I'm using raw horsepower w/ 7800x3D and 4090 and no kind of frame generation, and good enough old DynamicLOD. I'm trading in a native rate between 40 and 45FPS as default for me with the truly best image quality and stability possible on a 3440x1440 display. Render Scale 160, TAA, 16xAF/8xSS, AMD FidelityFX 200 and all settings Ultra and this instead of a native rate of 30 or 35fps doubled w/ FG plus its visual anomalies which I find absolute show stoppers. I find a frame rate of 40 provided it's liquid smooth for frame pacing is a decent lower limit so that's where is at the most complex scenarios, otherwise it's at 45fps in more moderate scenarios. Up in the air could bump to 60fps but there's really no point as panning and animation is already very good. I use two screens and screen judder and the big frame rate hit on the MSFS screen when moving focus back and forth is also not worth the added frames per second for me. I'm remain stunned many others don't see it the same, the visual anomalies I have w/ FG enabled and I'm pretty sure it's not my hardware though initially I thought perhaps that was playing a role but I don't think so now having had others duplicate my best image quality settings and see the same anomalies.
