July 24, 20241 yr New windows 11 computer. FSX installed properly, but with UAC turned, on and I had forgotten about the UAC. Now my FSX icon has the dreaded blue and gold shield. I've tried to lower the UAC setting without any successful change of the icon. I think (but I'm not sure) I'm able to access the hidden FSX files in the "roaming" section, you probably know what I'm referring to. However, I've replaced the controls file with my previous saved control file but it's not taking hold and makes no changes within the game. Is that also a UAC function by any chance? How do I; 1) remove blue and gold shield 2) manipulate hidden fsx files correctly from the correct location 3) totally disable UAC? thanks in advance for answers Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-14700F 32.0 GB memory Windows 11 Home Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060
