May 2, 20233 yr xCraft E-Jets Family News for XP12 Taken from their press release : We have some amazing news! I can’t believe that I’m gonna say this but we have just released the RC1 version of the E-Jets Family to our beta testers! RC versions come after Beta testing and it means Release Candidate. This is the first version that we think is ready to be sent to the store! Now, that doesn't mean that the release will happen tomorrow, we still need some time because this version also needs to go through rigorous testing before we can release it. However, as soon as all of our beta testers give us a green light, confirming that they couldn't find any serious issues, we will be ready to release. If we discover any serious issues, we will have to release an updated version RC2 and run another round of testing, until we see that it all works as intended. So fingers crossed! I honestly just - cannot - wait for everyone to fly the E-Jets! While you wait, I created an exclusive video in which I will show you how to load two different routes using our Authentic FMS. One from LA to San Francisco, and another one from Glasgow to London City Airport, and I will show you how you can preview the whole route on the map before you take off. May 4, 20233 yr After build my new PC and upgrade to P3Dv5/XP12, I didn't yet install the Feelthere Ejets but waiting for this one for a while. Can't wait to get another wrong turn on heading knob when I try to reducing speed, LOL! Edited May 4, 20233 yr by C2615

May 8, 20233 yr X-Crafts are really cool guys, I enjoyed their ERJs in XP11 and I'm really excited to get the E-Jets! Setup: RX6800 | 5800X3D + B450 | 32GB 3200MHz | X-Plane 12

May 10, 20233 yr Be aware: Left and right PFD and MFD are not independent AP speed must be set manually, so no VNAV speeds No procedural turns or holds No glide path mode All waypoints are treated as fly-past, not fly-over All items are likely subject to change down the development cycle. 7950X3D + 7900 XT + 64 GB + Linux | 4800H + RTX2060 + 32 GB + Linux My add-ons from my FS9/FSX days
May 11, 20233 yr Add-on prices on XP are much more expensive when compared to similar offerings MSFS. This is a huge issue for the platform. Also no FLEX takeoff thrust setting, which is a deal breaker for me... even Feelthere got that...

It's not a issue for those who know what they are getting for the money. It's easy to look at the MSFS offering and feel that you getting a bargain when many don't care about what they are actually getting in the aircraft and its shortcoming who are happy. It's another when you are paying $70 for 737NG variant and still don't have an efb compared to that with the Zebo mod which is free. (unfair comparison?) These are aircraft are coming fully developed and therefore they are price according. What is MSFS doing or not doing that allows them get away with bringing out an aircraft and selling it so cheap? To me, it would make me wonder rather than accepts it as par for course.
May 11, 20233 yr Ok, so I still bought it...but ....I'll wait for at least few patches after my first flight (C&D to set a small route but land back after T/O) To put it simple, not even as enjoyable as Feelthere Ejets V3..... yes it's THAT bad (again, for now) Consider install that back from P3Dv4 to my new v5 again....

The Fenix A320 is costs considerably less when compared to the Toliss, for instance. Yes, the WX Radar is missing, but that’s pretty much it unless you are very picky. On the other hand, it looks much, much better both inside and out. May 11, 20233 yr From what I've read, MSFS offerings are nowhere near those from X-Plane. I was interested in getting the Fenix A320 but it was lacking compared to the Toliss A319. Setup: RX6800 | 5800X3D + B450 | 32GB 3200MHz | X-Plane 12

Soon MSFS will get the first A2A GA aircraft and the built-in avionics from Garmin that power multiple aircraft are very good due to the Working Title partnership. In my opinion, XP is currently significantly ahead when it comes to large wide-bodies, that’s true. Nevertheless, the soon to be released WT improvements on the default 787/747 and PMDG’s next releases may close this gap significantly. Anyway, coming back to the topic, I would consider buying the E-Jets, but the asking price is just unjustifiable to me. I’ve paid a similar amount for the CL650, but that aircraft is on a completely different level. May 12, 20233 yr I agree, they're a bit pricy. For now there's a few issues to fix but overall I think they're promising. There's really no comparable E-Jets both for X-Plane or MSFS that I know of. Setup: RX6800 | 5800X3D + B450 | 32GB 3200MHz | X-Plane 12

The X-Crafts is probably a bit better, but the FSS is improving and the price is much more attractive.
