April 6, 20233 yr 😅I love it! 738 request pushback 738 stand by, pushback is under way Here comes a lady voice: no pushback srvice available!!! hahaha I wait a minute or two and here comes the truck! Isn't there another better add-on for pushback within X-Plane 11/12? JP Reuland

April 6, 20233 yr This also annoys me to no end. Why doesn't XP just spawn a pushback truck if none are available? And why the heck does it say that none are available, just to send a truck anyway when I am in the middle of my reverse powered pushback? I always prefer to use native pushback solutions, as external plugins are always incompatible with specific planes that I use. PC1: AMD Ryzen 9800X3D | Zotac RTX 5090 SOLID | Asus TUF X670E-Plus | G.SKILL 64GB DDR5 PC 6000 CL30 | 4TB NVMe  | Noctua NH-D15 | Asus TUF 1000W Gold | be quiet! April 6, 20233 yr Author But there is a solution although in real life it would cost your pilot license immediately! Switch engine full power on reverse for few meters! hahahahaha! It does the trick and it specially nice in very wet gate! JP Reuland
April 6, 20233 yr Nothing that I haven't seen been doing IRL JP 🙂 Actually it appears the props, like the DC-6, did it operationally! I learned about that when I bought the PMDG DC-6 for MFS 2020... April 6, 20233 yr very few aircraft are certified for using reversers to push back. Some DC9 and 727 variants were I think about the last. And even fewer airports allow(ed) it because of the noise.

And even fewer airports allow(ed) it because of the noise. I've marshalled DC-9's, 727's, Saab 340's in powerbacks. I even did a 737-200 once. That was not the best idea I ever had. We spent a few hours cleaning up the ramp.
