Just reserved a Crystal, chose it over then Varjo aero. Let’s hope the gamble Pays off!

May I ask what made you take the decision to choose chrystal over the varjo? Im curious because I may also one day be in the same situation on what too choose, when replacing my G2. (maybe sooner than my wallet agree too:p)

according to Pimax, first shipments of the Crystal for last years orders will ship end of January 2023. If you order now, expect delivery end of march 2023.

price, no base stations needed. Those were the two main reasons really, oh and better FOV I believe?

varjo aero:

no headphones

no WiFi option

no microphone

no local dimming (better blacks/contrast)

no adjustable Diopter (glasses required for wearer of glasses)

Varjo $1.999 without controllers

Pimax: $1.599 with controllers,
