March 26, 20224 yr My opinion: This monitor is a 27-inch 1920x1080p screen. I would NOT buy this. At 27-inch diameter screen, that resolution is too low. Pixels are too visible at normal viewing distance. I use a 27-inch which is 2560 x 1440p. Essentially this is 3K. 1080P is used as standard on 14 and 15 inch laptops where the display looks sharp and crisp. So now you are almost doubling the display area and not adding even one extra pixel, just making each pixel so much bigger. Manufacturers are just cutting corners by offering 27-inch and larger monitors that have a 1920 x 1080 pixel count. March 26, 20224 yr Heck no... pass. I run a 34 inch curved 1440p monitor. Its not bad, but not the best. I would go bigger next time. I really like the curved aspect though. Helps with immersion.
March 28, 20224 yr It is not optimal. I would not buy one brand new at full price - but then again if it is $100 Canadian versus several hundred dollars for a 32" 1440p or whatever .. maybe it is actually good enough. have a look at it working in game and see what you think. Everyone's eyes are different. Note that the biggest issue with 27" monitors is there is no perfect resolution: at 1080p the pixels can be noticeable when you are close for some, but not all, users. Only way to tell if you have this issue is look at one. Some people have no issues, other people find 27" 1080p unusable. It really depends on your eye sight. at 1440p many users find fonts etc too small and have to scale icons and fonts which can cause issues with some software at 4K the "things too small issue" gets even worse Edited March 28, 20224 yr by Glenn Fitzpatrick
