February 9, 20224 yr Hi all, aim going to upgrade my CPU to a 9900K , will I need to deactivate my licence first FLS/P3D ?, all other hardware will remain the same ROG Crossair Hero X670e , 9900X, TUF 4090 , X4 NVME's. OS 2TB 980 Pro , MSFS 2TB WD Black , Kington Fury 64GB ram ( 6000) Corsair RM1000 PSU, Artic Freezer iii 360 AIO . Phanteks P600s Case ,TCL QM8B 50" 120 Hz TV,second 24 inch screen for charts you tube etc, and 11" touch screen for the EFB. Warthog Stick and TCA Captains throttle ( full pack) Velocity 1 Rudder Pedals , extreme3D for the Tiller,Streamdeck XL x2 / Streamdeck +/Streamdeck mini because i like pressing buttons

It’s the safe option. I have no idea how many times the licence can be deactivated/reactivated but it’s probably a reasonable number. Ray (Cheshire, England). February 9, 20224 yr As Ray mentioned above, best to deactivate the license which is mentioned in their website also if you are making any hardware/OS changes. If not then you will have to wait for a couple of days (2 business days) for them to reset the license.
