August 9, 20214 yr Okay, exploding is an exaggeration but they are certainly going pop and making lots of sparks. 50% of them failed in testing and one took out a graphics card. If you have this model, watch out!
August 9, 20214 yr Newegg again. My experience with their house brand computer, ABS, has been similar. EVGA 750 watt power supply, CLC-240 AIO cooling fans, and now X-17 mouse all failed. Just waiting for the keyboard, AIO pump, and RTZ-3070-FTW3 to fail. My computer: ABS Gladiator Gaming PC featuring an Intel 10700F CPU, EVGA CLC-240 AIO cooler (dead fans replaced with Noctua fans), Asus Tuf Gaming B460M Plus motherboard, 16GB DDR4-3000 RAM, 1 TB NVMe SSD, EVGA RTX3070 FTW3 video card, dead EVGA 750 watt power supply replaced with Antec 900 watt PSU.
August 22, 20214 yr It is only a limited set of serial numbers and those can be easily obtained on the EVGA web site. I purchased by 750w PS in mid-July 2021 and it's serial number was a long way past the upper number of the ones in doubt. AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D / MSI X870 Tomahawk Mobo / 64 GB DDR5 memory / RTX 4070 Super with 12 GB VRAM / AORUS FO48U 4k display NVMe for Drive C, an NVMe device dedicated to Flight Sim 2024 and a separate NVMe device for Flight Sim 2020 and an NVMe dedicated to 500GB of addons managed by AddonsLinker / 1 GB Comcast Xfinity Internet connection / HP Reverb G2 / Tobii 5 Head & Eye Tracking
August 24, 20214 yr I don't trust some Gigabyte's product lines. In my case I had recurrent issues with curved video monitors, different units. Very poor quality control and inadequate/faulty components. This makes me avoid their other hardware parts despite been cheaper than competition. The time spent is more expensive.

Its not looking good for them at the moment. They've also been hit with a ransomware attack and RMA's are disrupted apparently. The statement they put out re their PSU issue was a bit pathetic too.
