Apparently it did not happen with the beta.

I discovered Little Navmap worked with MSFS during the Alpha.  I had to start offline because my Internet was down and ran LNM as a substitute for skyvector.

It picked up my position and plotted my flight path, and even picked up what kind of aircraft I was flying.  I was impressed. You do good work.

I did not experience any kind of lag or stutter running LNM in the Alpha/Beta.

thanks for the feedback and the kind words!

Seriously, I want to thank you for Little Navmap.  I had purchased FS-FlightControl and used it until my license ran out and I'd have to buy it again.  It's a little pricey for that, and doesn't work all that well anyway.

I discovered Little Navmap while looking for a replacement and loved it immediately.  I cannot recommend LNM highly enough.

Thank you again

Just discovered that Little Navmap was used in relation to MSFS not only by alpha testers... back in February 2020!

Just another shout-out for LittleNavMap, it's a great program. Been using it for a while in XP11 and glad to see it running in MSFS.

As a sim bush pilot doing quickie flight plans for FSEconomy runs, I especially appreciate the Flight Plan Elevation Profile window, that lets me know the safe altitude to avoid smacking into mountains along the way.

Not only a third'd shoutout for LittleNavMap, but goto the forum and get the map files another user has made available. Being able to have the VFR plates when I'm flying around Colorado here is awesome. Such a great program!

I’m late, but if you want to have the most fun, I highly recommend using SkyVector, and only use it as a tool to (1) view the sectional / approach plates and (2) view the current weather via METARs. The real fun in VFR navigation comes from using pilotage and dead reckoning. If you have an E6B at home, it’s fun to use that to calculate wind correction angles. Otherwise, just use the sectional to find waypoints and general headings and have fun navigating!

I would definitely not pay a cent for Navigraph for the purpose of VFR flying. Only for instrument flying with airliners is that worth it IMO.
