March 22, 20206 yr Hi all, Hoping to get some help on an error when trying to install FSUIPC4 with FSX Steam. Let me know if this is even possible as it may not be. During install I get two error prompts - 1. FSUIPC4 window and 2. Windows popup error. Quote Checking version of FSX.EXE: ... Version 10.0.62615.0 (Need at least 10.0.60905.0) !! WARNING !! This version of FSX is later than any known by this FSUIPC4. There may be problems. Please check for a later version of FSUIPC4! Checking compatibility with installed SimConnect: ... Probe Manifest fails to match base SimConnect needed to load FSUIPC4! Does this mean it isn't compatible with FSX Steam? ---o UPDATE I did not go through all of my simconnect install files. I didn't realize I needed to install from all three folders in the FSX Steam SDK folder. However, when starting FSX Steam I get an error indicating a problem with the install dll. Quote Flight Simulator has detected a problem with a third-party software program (add-on): Name: FSUIPC4 DLL: FS new universal IPC interface Version: 4.152 Company: Peter L. Dowson File: Modules\FSUIPC4.dll Do you want to run this software (not recommended)? When I select Yes to run... FSX Steam crashes. Any help?
