Guys go to PCaviator, everything is loading just fine, and the sale prices are showing up there too... Carenado is still on a 56k modem, lol...

Well I bought the Phenom 100 50% off which I always wanted but was unwilling to buy for the full price. And I bought their Pawnee which I didn't even know they did but I always wanted a Pawnee. I think just flight has one too which I remember looking at but again I thought it was over priced so I didn't buy it. The Pawnee was not on sale but I thought it was a good price at about $20. I am hoping that I can use them in MSFS 2020 when its released. Even thought the word is nearly 100% backwards compatibility I'll be surprised If I can install FSX/P3D addons in MSFS 2020. But you never know. I installed the Aerosoft Discus into P3D V4.5 the other day just by making a copy of the Prepar3D.exe and renaming it FSX.exe. Would it be cool if that's all it takes with MSFS. but I doubt it!

I'm thinking of picking up the Pilatus PC 12. Aersoft.de still has all the Carenado stuff at full price listed. FSMania has a few videos on Carenado planes; unfortunately, his videos are overprocessed and oversharpened. There is no way this is going to look as good on your PC. I guess you could call his videos "cinematic" rather than realistic.

Haven't made up my mind about the PC 12 yet. Also, there doesn't seem to be a proper manual that comes with it.

I like their style.  Announce a sale and then limit the function of your website so nobody can buy anything.

Fun airplane.  Especially with the GTN and mods found in the forums on this site.

The mods seem to be for the P3D version; I'm on FSX-Steam. Also, there is no way I'm spending an additional $65 on a Carenado plane, which is basically "a pretty wrapper" wrapped around default FSX planes. I use the Carenado planes in their "vanilla state" and find that they provide a moderate level of enjoyment.

Dumping of inventory ahead of MSFS release. Seems to be a trend. Good deals to be had I reckon.

Especially if you think there's no chance your computer can run the newest MSFS (just like every time MS puts out a new sim--for me at least).

Well, I bought it. Let's see how it flies.....

Since MSFS will be backward compatible with FSX, it should work in MSFS too.  Carenado will just have to add MSFS in their installer.

I doubt it has anything to do with MSFS. Carenado runs a sale like this every year around the same time, iirc.

It's Holiday season so a lot of places run sales.

The mods should work the same in FSX... but they do indeed assume a GTN750 in the panel.. which might increase your "moderate level" substantially

For $20 its worth it if you don't already have a business jet and I didn't.

Its got all glass cockpit which is complex enough. It has several PDF manuals

one for the Gamin Prodigy G1000 which I guess contains all you need to know

to get around. The systems seem basic enough. I got if from cold and dark at KLAS

and flew it KPHX with a direct GPS flight plan without looking at the manual once.

Just looked around the flight deck and figured it out.

Nice textures and details but not PBR as far as I can tell.

NIce looking gear and animations.

Looking forward to flying it VR when I get my HP Reverb in a couple of weeks

You're right, I'm tempted to buy the GTN750. Especially, since SimBrief allows you to create Garmin compatible flightplans. What mod would I then need for the PC12 - except the panel integration tool that Carenado provides?
