Microsoft Flight Simulator.

Sort of like Windows.  Why do we care what VERSION it is!  As long as fixes / updates keep coming there is nothing that we know of that will be able to compete with it within a year so it is JUST Microsoft Flight Simulator

Agreed. Exactly this or something close to it. They clearly want this to be around for a while; haven't they even mentioned 10 years? Even triple-A titles like GTA5 are sticking around for a long time (2013!).
