January 25, 20197 yr Please let me know if you can. I recently bought a flying joystick everybody uses it on the right hand it would not be better on the left so you would have the free right to use the mouse
January 25, 20197 yr Administrators Welcome to the AVSIM forums! Here's a thought. I move my mouse and pad over to the left of my keyboard and use the mouse with my left hand. Works like a charm!😉 Charlie Aron AVSIM Board of Directors-ADMIN/Moderator-Registrar Awaiting the new Microsoft Flight Sim and the purchase of a new system. Running a Chromebook for now!
January 25, 20197 yr This is based on individual preference. Most joysticks are configured for right hand use while some allow for left hand use. Joysticks are also associated with fighter type airplanes where the single pilot uses right hand for a controller and the left for throttle. General aviation and most airliner airplanes have a yoke where the pilot sitting on the left side generally uses the left hand for the left side of the yoke and the right hand for throttle, reversed with the pilot sitting on the right side. Airbus airliners have joystick type controllers, where the left side pilot uses left hand on the joystick and right hand on throttle, reversed for the right hand pilot. dv Win 10 Pro || i7-8700K || 32GB || ASUS Z370-P MB || NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti 11Gb || 2 960 PRO 1TB, 840 EVO My Files in the AVSIM Library
