Our Friends and Simmers in the USA

Featured Replies

Hello Everyone in the USA, I don't think it is out of order to write this Post under the circumstances.  My sympathy goes out to those affected by the Harvey Storm and to mention one name in particular, simply because he is the only person I know of who lives in Corpus Christi, Dan Downs.  I live in the U.K. and not subjected to such terrible weather.  I sincerely hope that everything turns out OK in the near future.  Very Kind Regards. Hi Richard,

As a Canadian I too am very worried for friends in Texas, including my long time flight sim friend Joshua Kemp in the Houston area.

Lots of our fellow desktop airmen and airwomen are having a tough time right now.

Thanks for reminding all of us!

Kind regards,

Was also wondering how Dan was doing.   Hang in there Dan!

Looks like he posted here about an hour before this thread was started, so I assume he's fine. At least I hope he isn't on here if things weren't going so good, anyway.

Thanks guys... South of Corpus Christi Bay not so bad, although a few are still without power.  North of the bay is hell all the way to Beaumont and now reaching into Lake Charles.  I urge anyone that wants to help these hundreds of thousands please give to a charity of your choice, such as Red Cross, Salvation Army, SPCA, etc.  Every dollar will help these organizations help others.

There are no words or videos to describe how everything is here. I've been helping with victims since yesterday morning and they keep coming. I am one of the lucky few who didn't get any water in my home however many many of my friends are homeless. There simply are no words.
