July 20, 20169 yr Hi! There's a freeware Euro Atlantic 777 by POSKY and ricardo_tv I downloaded a while ago, and I noticed how amazing the landing lights/taxi lights are. I mean, they look like they belong on a payware aircraft! Is there someway I can use this lighting for other aircraft as well? The default ones on some planes look awful, and are a bit dark. If that's not possible, is there a way to brighten the default lights at least? Thanks ~topgearuk98 Avid Flight Sim enthusiast - soon to be Aerospace Science student Joseph Shanab
July 20, 20169 yr Administrators More than likely not! Most landing lights and taxi lights are part of the model. It will depend mostly on what you see in the aircraft.cfg file under [lights]. I'll take a look at that freeware aircraft, if I can find it! Quick search found it at Simviation. Downloading now. July 20, 20169 yr Administrators Well, it looks like ricardo_tv added some Shockwave light effects to the model giving the super bright landing and taxi lights. I have seen this in some other aircraft, especially from FSLightman (David Grindele) who also adds a tremendous amount of "other" effects and textures (pictures) to his downloads. You could purchase A2A Shockwave lights for your aircraft that will give these bright lights.
