I tried to install fsx with windows 8 but get a message saying "1603 fatal error during installation Consult windows installer help(Msi.chmi)or MSDN for more information".can anybody help me resolve this.

Got the same error! Sorry op, can´t help but just join the search for this answer. Searched a lot but got no definitive answer. Here, i´m using win8 64 Pro.
