Recommended AA settings for a EVGA GTX 770 4GB

I'd switch out that gpu for a mid-high end.

A GTX 770 isn't a mid-high end videocard?

As for the OP,  I'd suggest trying different drivers as they may have some effect in getting you the AA you are looking for. It shouldn't be hard to get the AA you are expecting.

You should use BufferPools=0 in the fsx.cfg. This gives the GPU more work load.

Already done, that is one of the very few 'tweaks' I actually do use!

In the interests of fairness its worth pointing out that I do turn down some of my scenery settings to get such smoothness - I used to try and get the best possible visuals with the best possible performance and it just didn't work, it seems that even on the most modern hardware its one or the other, and I figured, if I want to go see the French Alps in stunning detail.... I should go take a real helicopter ride over the Alps!

Indeed it is - I got the EVGA superclocked 4GB one too - for the amount it cost me, it better bleeding well not be a low end card!!
