October 2, 201312 yr Moderator Thanks for posting your solution JG. I don't have my RC machine running so can't check my settings. Should that be "Pilot Autoreply"? Ray (Cheshire, England). October 5, 201312 yr Should that be "Pilot Autoreply"? yes it is, need to be unchecked. ...PD is working nice here now, got 3 in a row using first request, no second request needed until now JG
October 5, 201312 yr Moderator yes it is, need to be unchecked. ...PD is working nice here now, got 3 in a row using first request, no second request needed until now JG Very good. You can make further requests if initially denied. I checked my setting and it was unchecked. Anyone else with this problem should ensure the Pilot Autoreply is unchecked. Ray (Cheshire, England). October 14, 201312 yr What I do is to have all my flights NOTAM and never report on course. This allows me to keep my SID/STAR route. I also put a 130 mile radius around the destination as a warning to know the likely distance RC will tell me to descend. When it does and it doesn't match my TOD, I use the VS set to -200ft/min to descend slow until I hit my TOD.
