January 25, 201214 yr Hey repainters,Is there a seperate door handle texture outside of the paint kit? When I make the changes in the kit, the handles still look the same in the sim. I've looked in the _misc files and didn't see it, but I may be overlooking it. Hi Chris,I haven't checked the other files in the base texture yet but maybe the texture of one door handle is used for all the other handles. Is it only one door handle you have tried so far? I would fill all handles on the paintkit with different colours and see if it changes everything. The different colours should give you a hint which door handle might be used as a base.There are a few things in the way how textures are mapped which keep me quite confused. The wing roots for example only use the left side textures of the fuselage... .Good luck! Christian Mohr
January 25, 201214 yr I've painted all four in the kit, but only the frame of the handle is painted in the sim. The handle looks like it stays the default color. January 26, 201214 yr I need a bit of help here... Only recently have i noticed that the REG# PSD file has a mask layer (yeah, shoot me, i deserve it :( ). The thing is, i don't seem to be able to edit it. I can edit the main text file, but not the mask, i must be doing something wrong. Can someone point me in the right direction?Thanks!
