What's NVidia's best driver for FSX right now?

Featured Replies

I have an 8800GT and Vista 32. What's NVidia's best driver right now for this card? I just downloaded 178.24's from the NVidia site but have NOT installed them yet.I'd love to hear from any of you with a similar setup as to the most stable and best driver for me now.I'm currently using the 177.92's.

The latest, 180.43

Those seem to be for 64 bit Vista, not 32.

Thanks for the link. That cleared it up. Got 'em, downloaded em', and installed 'em. They work great. Thanks again.

Hello;I heard 180.43 can increase FPS even 30%~40% in FARCRY2 instead of 178.xx! Any experience or test in FSX?Regards

The 180.43 worked fine except I lost fan control on my 8800GTX. It is there but greyed out. Reverted to the last WHQL and got my fan control using Ntune back.

I do believe that I have better frames at my default airport with the same settings I've always used. I need to try more geographical locations to make sure, but so far it's all positive.
