Fantastic! I take it that the displays are going to be undocable like PSS A320 then?

I agree it does look beautiful but it still cannot match panels that use digital photos from the real aircraft to build their panels like PIC and Dreamfleet- just adds a bit more authenticity to the package.

Perfect!. :)

Gooper-you're quite correct. I have to totally apologize, but I couldn't find ANY digital photos for the Primary Flight Display of the 737NG. (Yeah, that's it. I couldn't find any. That's why it's all done in VECTOR GRAPHICS!).Geez...

>I agree it does look beautiful but it still cannot match >panels that use digital photos Gooper,Lets compare apples with apples. The above is not a panel - it is a single gauge, it is not even that - it's a prototype of a digital gauge or technology demonstrator. So you can compare it with Dreamfleet gauges if you wish (and how does it fare ?). If there is a panel we can compare it then with other panels .... Michael J.

yes u are right I apologize for not making myself clear- the gauges are outstanding- in fact the best I have ever seen! i was referring to the actual panel itself that is visible in the background as well as the screenshots from their websites- I just prefer panels based on digital photos of the real thing that all.

That would be directed at me then, I am the cockpit graphic designer.Well, if we only used photographs then I would be out of a job, and I'm not sure I'd want that. But seriously, we chose to keep our 3D computer graphics for the cockpit because it makes our product development more flexible as we are not confined to photographs. In addition, it is not an easy thing to get on a 737NG and take all the pictures that would be required for our needs, especially in today's world. As a result, we spend a lot of time making the 3D cockpit an exact replica of the real thing. It is also not a single person's task, we actually have a team that works together on making a virtual and a 2D cockpit to give you an option (for those of you who don't like virtual cockpits, or 2D look-around views).I know you are entitled to your own opinion, and I have no problem with that, but I wanted to explain to you this approach from our point of view.Sincerely,

Thanks for your explanation Mark and I totally respect your reasons for doing it that way- it will no doubt be an outstanding product and i absolutely will be purchasing it as soon as it is ready- do u have a rough idea of when that will be by the way??

What you mean besides the Flight Director is now on? And the HDG bug is working?Edit - Oh, and I missed the mach number instead of ground speed.

>Anyone can guess what the big deal about this is? ;-) I can only hope that Flight Director is working correctly - that could not be said about the FLY! world. ;-)Again, phenomenal graphics.Michael J.
