A42 500 SERIES P3D | FSX

According to the manual: Assign Flight Level to WPT - Press the (R)LSK corresponding to the WPT you want to modify and enter the altitude you want to be at that WPT, then press ENTER key. However, when I press the R LSK key corresponding to the waypoint, nothing happens and I can't enter a new altitude. It works fine on my ATR 72-500 FMS, but not on the ATR 42-500. Am I missing something? Does anyone have a suggestion?

Hi i have seen many times that the pushback for atr is to apply reverse power.but when applying reverse power the aircraft remains stopped. can you please fix this? Also, lease check the payload section when you put like 5.000 kg of pax. the airplane tails go down and the nouse up and the door stair is down the floor

Got some fresh paints coming out for the ATR. Whilst the mappings aren't the easiest to paint, i've started painting them in Quixel to get better alignement. I understand it’s not on the same caliber as the other big turboprop, the majestic q400, but can it get me from A to B with minimal frustration/bugs? I’ve always wanted an ATR but I’be found other carenado regional airliners (ie B1900) frustrating to me when things don’t work they way they should and end up as hanger queens. Thanks for any thoughts.

Hi everyone, every time I load the ATR 42, the PFD seems to change to a more basic one. Furthermore, in a youtube video the ND is clearly different. Any idea to get the different PFD and ND than the one appearing by default ? link of the video :

Anybody else tested 1.4 already? Just did a short test and the first thing noticed is hotel mode broken. Prop brake shows active but prop turning. Can someone confirm please? Cheers Thorsten

Hi, Does anyone know how to operate the fuel crossfeed on this aeroplane.Putting the crossfeed valve to open and shutting one of the fuel pumps does not seem to have any effect. If you use the hotel mode prior to startup,you get a fuel inbalance and it would be nice to equalize fuel tanks during cruise flight.

Hey, Overall I am very satisfied with this new Carenado addon.So far I have flown 4 flights with it and she performs quite adequately.I do have a question:does anyone know how to make the weather radar appear on the HSI? I do have Active Sky active but I receive no returns.(I put the WX radar switch in the cockpit to on);But I see no returns on any of the possible HSI screens.Glad for any answer!

Anyone else getting extreme glare on instruments when turning on dome light? There's so much glare that the instruments are not even readable, they are completely whited out. There is also extreme glare in external view on the top of the wings...blinding. Anyone know how to resolve this?

Have done just one flight on FSX with the F1 Garmon 750 installed. Most things seem to work, but I cannot get the course pointer on the EHSI to indicate the course I dial in. The correct course is indicated in digits in the upper left hand corner of the EHSI, but the yellow pointer shows something different and doesn't move as I change the course. I have the FMS/GPS off so should be seeing VOR 1. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Dale

Hi all, Now version 1.2 is out, I am STILL unable to load an approach using the Universal FMC. I have the updated Navigraph database etc, however no luck! Anyone else in a similar position? Have a fix for it? Second of all, now I was version 1.2, I am unable to change the LNAV heights on when I put my route in the FMC, in v1.1 I could select the height on the right hand side and change that, now, I can't! Again, anyone else in a similar position? Have a fix for it? Many thanks all!

I communauty, I download the last version 1.2, and I tried to install and I had this error 403 to much install ?? For the first version 1.0 I tried to install too much time trouble with my firewall, for the 1.1 no problem with instal. Then now What can I do for réinstall? buy another time?

When inside the virtual cockpit, looking out on the right flighdeck window towards the right wing, sometimes there is a weird 3D object, a cube seen right there. How did it pass beta testing, really? Below is a screenshot. Discovered during approach, maybe it has to do with landing gear or flap extension? I have also seen the bug in a video, where the uploader thought it is a bug with his repaint. Hi. Does Carenado's ATR accurately simulate the power management system? This is the system whereby you set the power for TO, MCT, Climb, and Cruise and it automatically sets the propeller RPMs and torque (I believe this is what it does at least). Thanks. Dave
