747 Immersion Support

Hi everyone! We have been tracking an issue since the release of 747 Immersion and we're having a really hard time replicating it and finding common variables that would enable us to fix the issue once and for all. We have tried multiple potential solutions without success so far. I have a few questions that will help us figure out the issue. Make 100% sure the issue you are having involves ntdll.dll before answering those questions. Please provide a copy of the ntdll crash event in the Windows Event viewer with answers to the following questions: What operating system are you using? Hello Chaps. I have an issue with Immersion in P3Dv5. I did a complete reinstall of the SIM and I am getting this issue with the "Shaders" according to LORBY. Are you able to assist even though I understand this is a "Legacy" product? I've chatted with the lads at Parallel//42 but they choose not to assist. I've tried all the troubleshooting that has been suggested by them. Thank you in advance.

Seems that the immersion Manager is down since any new update. Everytime I try to start it I get the message "The immersion Manager was updated. Please restart your simulator to see your aircrafts visual effects properly. Restarted sim, restarted computer, reinstalled immersion and VFX, still that issue. Also asked some guys in Facebook groups and they told me that they're having the same problem.

Hi, I noticed that during climb and cruise I get engine condensation at FL300, which alone is quite unusual. But beyond that, I get it only on engines 2,3. If the air is humid enough the pressure should be equal in all engines, and thus condensation should create either in all or to none. Right? Here is a screenshot:

Hello, I bought and installed immersion package for PMDG 747. All seems to be inslaled well. Independent immersion manager works, however, effects (lights and others) are not activated. Green buttons on left side of immersion manager window stay inactivated. Only what I can do is to activate it blue - preview - then it works. However, once I return back to sim it is again unactivated...I cannot make it working….. Any idea what can be wrong ? many thanks ! JM

Hello , I use the 747 Immersion under P3Dv5 HF2 and i dont like the Style from the Contrails . The Contrails looks like small round clouds . Like Balls . But in real it is one line . I try already the different Settings in Immersion Manager . But without success . Here an original Picture : And here an Screenshot from Sim : Is there any Solution for this ? Thanks Michael

After deleting previous installation of Immersion Manager and re downloading from Orbx Central, it wont launch with the sim anymore so I can not use it. It also looks as if it's not downloaded at all, because there is nothing but version file and '11.dll' in Immersion Manager folder. Also no entry in exe.xml.

Hello sorry my english... I bought a few days ago can't get it to work properly uninstalled and deleted the folder Parallel 42. C - programs files installed from scratch several times and I still have the same problem, I can only see the previews blue and the rest is all dead it doesn't give me greens. Run as administrator I also turn off windows defender disabled PTA installed the simulator from scratch but nothing to do I don't get out of it also tried with windows firewall...

Hi, I've transferred from the normal installation to the Orbx based install. Immersion manager fails to start and I get the following error reported in the log; "Could not load file or assembly 'Framework, Version=1.1.43.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified." Any thoughts?

Guzys hello, After transfering all of mine oldprop stuf to ftx central, fixing chaseplane, now I have an issue with the 747 immersion manager. It loads, then crashes with a messsage that an error log is on my desktop (no log unfortunately), following with a message do i want to restart it, and afterwards the manager won't start, and there are no effects on the 747 also. Any help would be greatly appriciated Thank you, ivan

Dear OLD Prop Team, I ahve pruchased now the 747 add on. Installed it a couple of times but I havent seen any effects. Opened the Sim as Admin as requested. Didnt work. I have unistalled the whole VFX Central and my pevious purchased 737 and 777. Re-Installed everything... 737 and 777 works bt nothing on the 747. it seems that Immersion Manager connects to the sim but nothing happens. Please help... or maybe there is another similiar topic openend alreay. Thanks and regards Bernie

Hi, I have to problem that the landing light of the PMDG 747 still illuminate the clouds/fog and so on when I turn the Landing Light Switches off. Is there any fix for this problem? Best regards Dennis

Hi there, I am using the immersion for the 747/777/737 and only get this problem in the 747 and not as bad in the 777. I can get it to go away by dimming the landing lights but whats the point then. If anybody has any ideas I would love to know. I know its immersion since I reinstalled P3D etc and its still there only with immersion.

I open quite frequently p3d and the Immersion Manager windows pop even if i don't use the 747. Is it possible to close it for good and be opened only when we need it? thank's

Hi, I've been trying to use 747 immersion with my Prepar3D v4.5 and all the previews are working, but none of them (except engine smoke) goes to green when I use any of the features. If I turn on the lights of the 747 all of them stay in grey status. The immersion manger is recognizing perfectly that I'm using the 747. Waiting to hear back from you! thanks

I was flying into TJSJ last night and turned off my landing lights because due to go-around and low clouds. When I turned of the -400 lights, immersion manager kept the lights on. In the IM landing lights was green and cycling it off did nothing, they remained on. Last week it was the 737 stuck on after takeoff.

P3D v4.5.12, windows 10 1809 x64. When Starting P3D, Immersion Manager show popup and close automatically. After Reinstall 747 Immersion. popup continue showing. Popup windows message is "The immersion manager updated. Please restart you simulator to see your aircraft's visual effects properly." How can I solve this?

Hi. I purchased and installed the 747 immersion package yesterday. Initially it seemed to be working. I could open the immersion manager and preview the effects. Didn't have time to try an actual flight until today. I fired up my P3D V4.4 this morning to start a flight got to 36000ft and saw that no effects were visible. I tried to open the immersion manager from the program files folder and I didn't open. So I decided to uninstall it from the VFZ central manager. Did a reinstall and tried again. Still the same problem, I get the message to enable the effects manager, I enable it, load up the 747-400 and try again to open the immersion manager, but it won't…

For the past several weeks I have been experiencing this cloud effect coming out of the fuel dump valve. This only happens with the 747-400BCF and I have contacted PMDG about the issue but they are saying its an issue with the immersion pack. During the past month I've been attempting to resolve/seek help regarding unexpected issues with the 747 Immersion product. Prior to this I was very happy with the 747 enhancement, much as I enjoy the other OldProp products I have purchased. Please note that I have been using P3D v4.4 for some time, and there had not been any problems until recently. I've added no other products to my sim system either. Main initial symptom was heavy wing condensation showing, when the aircraft had landed and was static. At the same time I noted that tyre smoke effects were affected too, mostly not happening at all. so for some reason when im in 4.4 in the 747 I have the immersion manager installed but doesn't show in my sim I end up having to run it manually through the folder but it doesn't pick up the sim at all what am I doing wrong
