F50 FSX | P3D

Hi all I was wondering if is there any way of tuning NAV 1 on cap's EHSI and NAV 2 on 1ST OFF's EHSI. If ther's not I don't know how to use the NAV1 and NAV2 buttons on the glareshield. I would apretiate any help. PD. I'm unable to fly with FMS, fps drop to 0.3 at the time I turn it on... Thx Paco

P3d V4. cannot get the FMS to come on? Tried Reinstalling (With My anti-virus off), Tried Shift - 6 Take off mode. Am I missing Something or do I have some sort of conflict?

I find the pitch wheel to be located in an inconvenient location (even with the popup autopilot).. so for quick adjustments in flight I am experimenting with an alternate location. The zoom in/out buttons on the VSI gauge are a tempting target.. does anyone actually use these buttons, or should I repurpose them as VS up/down click buttons? That would work for me, but I wonder if that would be a problem for others.. ?

Hi, I see a few problems being reported elsewhere. I fly P3D v4.2 via FlyInside and navigate with the F1 GTN750, The F50 v1.0 worked well for me in VR, as above. The new v1.1 won't work at all for me in the same setup, and even seems to disable access to FlyInside's Menu. I'd just like to know if I'm alone with this problem? Thanks, Jim P.S. I am not able to enter data such as DEP/ARR into the FMS- When I click on the LSK buttons I dont get a cursor or a scratchpad...All I can do is cyele through the various functions of the FMS itself...Any ideas?

Bugs in version 1.1 1. It is still not possible to see the no smooking and the seatbelt sign in the cabin in the evening! 2. The GPU power does not work, after about 15 minutes the aircraft loses electrical power! 3. FMC still does not change self-waypoints during flight! 4. Floodlight and instrument light are still merged and can not be operated seperately! 5. Stormlight also has no function yet! It's a pity there are no more things that seem realistic when Carenado spent so many hours and made such a nice airplane! Ok just some of(what I consider are) bugs I've found. 1: No landing lights illuminating the gound interior or exterior. This maybe because there is no light actually in the area of the wing where a light shoud be on interior view. No landing light illumniation interior No landing light moddeled on the interior No landing light illumination exterior 2: Taxi light only illuminating a small circle. Taxi light only illuminating a small circle 3: 'Custom brakes sounds on taxi and landing run'. I've not heard these brake sound at all on taxi or landing. 4: The propellors seen to just stop on shutdown, unless I'm doing something wrong…

Hi, My nose steering wheel is not doing what it supposed to do. The nose sterring wheel can be moved from left to right and back but the plane is going straight forward. Any suggestions? Best regards and Happy flying,

Hello With the AP of my F50, I select the altitude but nothing happens (AP is active, and Altitude is active). Could you explain how to use the altitude selector of the AP and that my altitude changes. thank you JDoe

Hi, I seem unable to change the altitudes assigned to waypoints. For instance, the 25000 that seems to appear automatically in the RSK column for en route waypoints cannot be changed to anything else. Has anyone any ideas? Thanks, Fabio

Even after following the checklist to a t, when I click on the TO config button I still get a red warning on the panel and the audio chime, is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

Can't seem to be able to get any of the radios to turn on. Any suggestions?

There is a warning on the upper panel to depressurize before landing. Ok, but how? I don't see a dump switch anywhere.

Hello there, I just bought the mighty Fokker 50 and read a bit through the documentation (which could be a bit more detailed in my opinion..) but I don't quite look through it as I was used to fly the PMDG 777 / 737 only and the F50 definitely is another game. I have to say though that it handflies like an absolute dream, very surprised by that! However I just got a few questions: - Does it have some kind of accurate TD calculation? Or does one have to calculate it manually? - Is it possible disable on the ND that all the nearby airports and waypoints are displayed? I think in the real F50 it can be disabled through the FMS but I couldn't find the opti…

Hi, This is the plane I have been waiting for as Dutchman, very nice. But I need a little help with the Carenado Universal FMS. When I insert a flightplan I can't select the runway of the arrival airport, what am I missing here, do others have the same problem?

When I open the 2-D pop-up windows using View > Instrument Panel....., I notice that selecting FMS on the drop down menu opens the INFO window and selecting INFO opens the FMS 2D window! Not a big issue but one that I would have thought should have been detected in beta testing. I did a fresh download from the Carenado site and a reinstall in case my first download was corrupt but the issue persists. Is anyone else seeing this? This minor blip hasn't however detracted from my enjoyment of the Fokker 50 which is destined to become another one of my favourites! Bill

I've noticed i only get the "500feet callout". I checked the sound folder at \Sound\Carenado\CarSoundF50 and all the audio files there. I might be doing my approach or even preflight checks wrong. Any idea how to enable the callouts? BTW i have not installed GT750. I suspect the approach might not be stable to enable the callouts? but i've seen cockpit videos of crew doing crazy descent pitch and the alttiude callouts plays all the way to 10feet. Any solution? Although I had installed the integrated GTN into the Fokker 50 panel, I thought I would try the default 'Universal' FMS to assess its level of functionality and to see if Carenado had improved on that element of their systems design. I found however that I was unable to make the AP follow a flight plan while the GTN was installed but when I uninstalled the GTN from the panel, the AP linked satisfactorily to the FMS and followed the flight plan. Given the somewhat limited functionality of the default FMS, I will probably use the GTN as my primary navigation device anyway, but I wondered if anyone else had noticed that the default FMS will not work while the GTN is ins…

Hello everything, Is there anyone who can help me about a manual of the universal CDU in the F50. I only can use the button FLP and then type in the depart and the arrival name of the flightplan. Can push the next button. That's working but all is then mentioned. And that it is not the meaning I think. I hope for help so I have changed the CDU screen to another monitor. Now it's a dead thing. Hi guys, any of you have a problem with the GPS? Mine turns ON, but never fully starts. When I press Shift-8 to check the Navigraph status, it is stuck at 0% endlessly. Any ideas? Unfortunately Carenado provides 0 documetation regarding the software and installation itself. Cheers,
