<p>
	Hi,
</p>

<p>
	I installed F50 to P3D5 and got stuck with the infamous "navigraph data not loading" bug. Is there a way to manually install the required info? I´ve gone through all possible correction attempts found.

<p>
	Did a short flight this evening after setting up Bert´s GTN mod.
</p>

<p>
	Everything works a it should, no problems detected, except: my GTN750 (RXP) is dark. But when I call them up with shift+2, it pops up and works normally.
</p>

<p>
	If I send it back to the pedestal, it is dark again. Not a problem, if it is the way it should be.
</p>

<p>
	(it happens only with the F50, all other planes do not have that prob.)
</p>

<p>
	Anyway, a very big "thank you Bert" for the hard work.

<p>
	Hello,
</p>

<p>
	I did my 3rd flight this plane today and i've noticed all the VFR approaches only the "500feet callout" is played. I checked the sound folder at \Sound\Carenado\CarSoundF50 and there are definitely full altitude callout audios from 2500feet to 10 feet already installed. I might be doing my approach or even preflight checks wrong. Any idea how to enable the callouts? BTW i have not enable GT750 installed.
</p>

<p>
	Regards.

Also I can't turn the course and hdg-knob. Is there anyone else that have th sae issues? And know any soulutions?

<p>
	First off, I apologize if this is in the wrong place or if it's been covered to death. It's never been solved.
</p>

<p>
	I broke down and bought a Carenado product. I loved the look of the Falcon 50. The plane flew fine while the Navigrap database was loading. Once loaded, frames went to less than one per second making the sim unusable. I have tried all the 'fixes' I found on Carenado's forum as well as anything I could find in other forums. I altered the .DLL file, I changed permissions for Navigraph files, I moved all FSX sliders to the left and turned off any eye candy. It's a Navigraph problem and it's never been dealt with. Carenado went from offering me a different airplane to not responding to my emails.
</p>

<p>
	Can somebody help?
</p>

<p>
	Thank you,

	Again due to lack of documentation anywhere i'll just post the vspeeds and etc down below here. Data here is from an airline that no longer operates Fokker 50. Some data is NIL as the company does not use it but i believe other operators have data for it.  Note data below is for dry runway conditions.

	Additional notes<br />
	-Fairly common to add 10knots to your vref landing. So for e.g if your vref is 99knots you'll be approaching at 109knots and maintaining down to about 100feet above the runway then you'll slow down to your vrefs. Do note you may even have to add more speed to your vref depending on wind conditions. <br />
	-Flaps 35 approach is rarely used except for runway with lengths shorter than 1500m or approach that requires a very steep glideslope gradient.<br />
	-Preferred take off flaps is 10 on the documentation i am reading. But i am sure for other airlines will prefer flaps 5 if the runway is long. Flaps 15 again for short runway depending on runway length and conditions.<br />
	-Take off to acceleration height retract your flaps once speed is at vfr and check if the speed is at vfto switch engine management to clb and wait for the speed to climb to 140knots ias. Use climb mode ias 140. If you've outclimbed terrain or atc gives a go ahead use v/s +500fpm and wait for the speed to go up to 170knots ias and then engage ias climb at 170knots. Best climb would be your vfto+5kts but again only used when needed.<br />
	-Taking off with tailwind is risky on short runway. Take note a direct tailwind of just 5knots might need you take 200m more runway than required on calm conditions.
</p>

<p>
	Hope this helps others.

	In short, any airport that doesn't have a SID will not show any departure runways for me in the FMC.
</p>

<p>
	For example, if I create KOSU - KDTW and try to select my departure runways, the list is blank. No SID nor runways listed. My airplane is sitting on runway 5. <br />
	Alternatively, I could create KDTW - KOSU and select KOSU as the arrival and there are STAR/runways listed. Is this a learning lesson for me and it is just a normal function of any airport without a SID listed, or should there be departure runways listed regardless?

<p>
	Is it possible to manually enter a waypoint in the database of the Universal FMC of the Fokker 50? I like to add EHN (NDB freq 397.0), its position N51 28.1 E005 23.7

	I am back from using Flight 1´s GTN and now Iam using the universal FMC adopted from the Citation S550.<span style="float:none;background-color:transparent;color:rgb(85,85,85);font-family:'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;font-size:13px;font-style:normal;font-variant:normal;font-weight:400;letter-spacing:normal;text-align:left;text-decoration:none;text-indent:0px;text-transform:none;white-space:normal;word-spacing:0px;">  I can have flightplans in the FMC by Aivlasoft. so far so good. 1.But there is no magenta line on the map. Is there someone who can tell me how to get the magenta line? 2. You can only get LNAV mode when you push the Nav button on the FMC and I would like that I could also push it on on the Autopilot mode panel. Some help please Best regards</span>

<p>
	Finally picked up the F50.  Nice, real nice.
</p>

<p>
	Only thing I cannot figure out is where are the switches for the cockpit lighting.  I found the series of switches on the center console below the throttles, but they are poorly labeled - some work, some don't.  If I do a "Ready to Taxi", the panel lights are on but none of the overhead or flood lights.  Anyone figure this out yet?  <img alt=":cool:" data-emoticon="" height="20" src="https://www.avsim.com/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" srcset="//bucket-classabb4b6de-f0f3-41fc-b42f-e9776c8572d8.avsim.com/emoticons/cool@2x.png 2x" title=":cool:" width="20" data-src="//bucket-classabb4b6de-f0f3-41fc-b42f-e9776c8572d8.avsim.com/emoticons/cool.png"></p>

	Thanks

	Hi all,
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Has anyone experience with EFB v2 from Aivlasoft? Does it have an autopilot function to follow a flightplan? And how does it react with the Fokker 50?
</p>

<p>
	Upon request I've done two repaints for the Fokker 50 as well.
</p>

<p>
	Forgive me if they exist already, I hadn't checked before painting.

<p>
	I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling from the Carenado website (1.1) but still have the eye point in the wrong place (or alternatively, the cockpit too far forward).
</p>

<p>
	I'm a but confounded why others haven't got a similar issue. ???
</p>

<p>
	I don't have any camera add-ons.
</p>

<p>
	For now I will have to use the FPS heavy version.

	Does anyone have a problem with the airplane ballooning when you drop the flaps during an approach?
</p>

<p>
	The autopilot has trouble controlling the airplane when I do it..  (maybe an indication of poor airmanship on my part..)
</p>

<p>
	I've tried to apply the PC12 flaps lift/drag mods with some success, but not quite sure what I am doing, especially since there are two flaps sections (0,1) with slightly different degrees of flaps (intentional??)  <img alt=":huh:" data-emoticon="" height="20" src="https://www.avsim.com/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" srcset="" title=":huh:" width="20" data-src="https://dev.avsim.com/files/forum/emoticons/huh.png"></p>

	I've read that this airplane doesn't have a very good fms. I'm having an issue that I honestly hope is related to the carenado fms and nothing else. I tried creating a flightplan both with default fsx and onlineflightplanner.com. The problem is the plan looks viable but when I enter it manually into the fms some of the waypoints are way off. For instance I leave kcha or Chattanooga heading to northern Michigan. One of the waypoints generated by both planners is BWG or Bowling Green, Kentucky. Perfectly normal except that the fms puts the waypoint at 5000nm or so away. Not possible as it's only 500nm to my destination. Bowling Green is not that far from Chattanooga either. Is this the planes mess up or something else? Everything else is fine in fsx or seems to be. Thanks ahead as usual. I've just been flying direct to flights because of this.
