Hi, so I've had all FS2Crew products of recent since NGX including reboot iterations and so on, I've just picked up the Maddog today and ofcourse FS2Crew to go with it and to be honest it's not on the same level as the others, here's a few things I'm missing personally: 1. No P.A. audio or briefing audio? I've seen you said it's because it's voice only but so was the Q400 ver when released yet these were included. 2. Turnaround - there doesn't seem to be a clean way for turnarounds the way there is in every other one? (As in being able to Run PF events again for the countdown, cabin boarding etc etc)

I have uploaded my Excel spreadsheet Captains Only flows and checklists for Fly the Maddog X with FS2Crew version 1.3 to the Avsim library , link below. https://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?DLID=203891&CatID=p3dutil The spreadsheet contains a different tab for various aircraft and is a great tool to use on a second screen when working with FS2Crew. Aircraft included are: Fly the Maddog X PMDG 747 QOTSII (SOP 1 and 2) PMDG 777 PMDG NGX (Reboot SOP versions 1, 2 and 3) Aerosoft Airbus Majestic Q400

When using FS2Crew and running the pre-flight events P3d will consistently freeze and no longer respond after the the FO checks the landing gear warning. No relevant error log either. Any ideas? Eric

Dear Team, I have now flown the MD80 with FS2Crew for some time and have some issues with FS2Crew. - As others mentioned the sound of the FO, FA and ground crew is quite loud. - Because the sound is so high I have experience the FO is talking over me. An example is that he reads the checklist, but because he is so loud FS2Crew hears him and he then continues to the next point or he reads a point and right after it starts a "Say again" loop. - One thing I notice on the flight I just completed is that I had to say things twice. It register one thing first and when I say it again it reads it right. I have said the same the first time and clearly - I …

Hi Brian, Couldn't you update the checklist items on climb and approach to also have barometer setting? Would be very helpful and I am a bit surprised they are not already in there. Thanks! Matts

Really enjoying this product, but just having one recurring issue: It seems as though every flight I do, the FO calls rotate at the V2 speed I’ve selected in the FMC rather than VR. Is this by design, and if not what is the rotate call linked to? Thanks for the help.

Today I started the Right engine as per normal and then said "start right engine" by mistake...the FO went through the entire sequence again. Would it be possible to change the logic so in this situation the FO says....right engine already started ?

Hi Byork and fellows, as a former owner of old maddog+fs2crew as soon as they were available i bought their new version. Ok. As we know, right clicking the FA button opens a window dialogue to perform the light test or to start boarding and so on. But, right clicking it or left clicking it makes the charmant FA to ask me what I want. So, even if I click just to perform the emergency lights test, and I really do not need anything, I feel obliged to ask her something, to let her feel comfortable I say: "one coffee, please". BUT she never, never brings me that coffee. She has always done it before on maddog or Q800. Does she really know I asked my coffee just for j…

I am the only one who has purchased this product to have this issue, so I know for a fact it is something obvious I am missing, which is as embarrassing as it gets. Either way, here goes ... The sounds for the cabin boarding on my headset are absolutely horrible sounding. Also, any and all sound effects are full volume. According to the manual I can use the INT volume control to raise and lower FS2Crew volume. However, this seems to ONLY effect the first officer and not anything else at all. Out of desperation I tried the PA volume as well, but to no avail. What am I doing wrong? And how do I get this horrible distortion out of the boarding sounds? The on…

Good afternoon. First of all my compliments about the release for the MADDOG. Even if I have to say, I am a bit disappointed. Compared to the version I use for the Dash, this version is quite basic and I thin a lot of improvements should be done, to make this product as excellent as the other. Dont get me wrong. I like it and its usefully. But it misses some details to be great. But what is very annoying. The mute button doesn't work. Not the hard and not the soft-mute. Even after the update. My headset is not selected as sound output, even if it is selected in the panel. The panel doesn't like to be in my 2nd monitor. The sub-panel st…

Must admit I've always used button control in previous FS2 Crew programs I've purchased. Speaking into a computer just makes me feel like a dork, but needs must as the Maddog version has only the voice option. Now I have to use voice I'm a bit confused by the manual, as I can't seem to work out who does what and when, especially at start up. I normally let the FO do most of the donkey work while I do things like FMC MCP etc. Lazy, yes, but that's the way I roll with my simming. Is there a video out there, even from another voice version for a different plane that can enlighten me? The button versions seemed to have a more step by step guide compared with this, o…

.... me shouting to the FO... I have 2 sentences that are extremely hard to get through: CABIN CREW BE SEATED FOR TAKEOFF FLAPS UP, SLATS RETRACT (During climb) It appears shouting to the FO doesn't help either. How are these sentences pronounced? Should there be a pause/pauses somewhere? Or do I have to say everything rapidly? What are the key words? Re 1) Can I just say the phrase of should I click a (overhead) button first?

Hello, I am up and running with FS2Crew and the Mad Dog X but cant get a response to voice commands. I have US voice set selected, Win 10 hears my input through voice training ok, I get the green strip across the top when speaking with FS2Crew running, which correctly shows what I have said, but FO FA etc don't respond. HM and SM are both off, Please could someone advise what I'm doing wrong? Thanks in anticipation Andrew

Hi Guys (and Gals). Version 1.3 is ready for testing Version 1.3 is a pretty good update. It includes lots of new features (like comm and nav frequency voice control) that were requested by our users over the last week. Some users experienced some odd sound issues, which I can't reproduce. But we'll see if 1.3 helps them. If you had a sound issue, please send me a support ticket via: www.fs2crew.com We need to see if 1.3 helps you. Cheers,

Hi, 1. Microphone I have a voice recognition/microphone issue. I'm using a USB headset (always did for FS2Crew) Somehow FS2Crew isn't listening to my voice. No matter what I say, no one is responding. I have checked the input level of my microphone (Windows sound setting) and that is functioning OK. Also I tried the Windows speech recognition and that functions OK too. In FS2Crew CFG panel, I selected: Speakers (Logitech USB Headset) 2. FO sound over my speakers, not in my headset On FS2Crew main panel I have select HS, but the FO is speaking over my normal soundcard/speakers 3. Settings in FS2Crew CFG panel not persistant. Every time I st…

Hi, First of all thank you very much for the wonderful FS2Crew for the amazing Maddog X. I have some issues during line up check and during the before takeoff phase: 1) During the lineup check, the FO will announce "Transponder TA/RA" but he will not set it to TA/RA. Instead the swich remains on STBY. 2) Same with ignition. In my last flight I noticed the switch was set to OFF when the FO asked during the checklist, while other times it is set to A by the FO. 3) Just before takeoff, I will say "ready?" and the FO will respond ready and start counting. However his ET counter is not started. Any ideas if these are bugs or do I do someth…

Hi Bryan - I will likely be buying the FS2Crew MD80 edition and was reading through some of the docs. I am curious how this works with the MD80 startup states and I don't think I came across anything that made it clear. With the NGX, 777 I generally start at gate under external power and FS2Crew works perfectly. The MD80 panel states are only C&D and on the APU. What is the method used here? Would you start C&D, get the aircraft on External power then start FS2Crew? Thanks!

I live stream when I work with simulation titles, and as such I want to try to be accurate and concise when it comes to reenacting flights on the air. As a real world pilot, I am aware that a typical Takeoff Briefing always consists of basics such as duties, weather, emergency procedures, types of takeoff, speeds, clearances, etc. However, I am wondering if anyone has come across a transcript that depicts the Maddog specific briefings that US Airline Captains go through. We in General Aviation have it easy. In the airlines, Captains also have to announce very specific things having to do with flight deck configuration and such, and it differes for every single aircraf…

I can't find the location of where you input the information for the briefings. Are these implemented? If not, for approach, how do we get the correct callouts for decision height / minimums? Are these included in the Maddog dialogues or an auto aircraft callout? Thanks.

Just a small update: V1.1 is on the server. It corrects a small issue associated with audio playing through your headset. To obtain the update, login to your account, click Completed Orders, re-download and re-install. Best,
