[22 Feb 2018] The new Leonardo Maddog X, one of the best FS aircraft in history that is on par with the PMDG aircraft in our view, is now fully supported by FS2Crew. The product supports, in one single package, for one price, FSX through P3D V4. We put a lot of work into Reboot. We updated a lot of the internals, tweaked the GUI and worked closely with the Maddog developer so we could support some of the new features in the Maddog X, such as Dial-A-Flap. This is a VERY complex plane, and working closely with the Maddog developer was absolutely integral to getting it done properly. Working with Dial-A-Flap was especially complex, but we did it! T…

Question: Is there a discount for previous FS2Crew owners? Answer: Yes, use coupon code DOGX to get 5 euros off. Question: My FO stopped doing his flows. Answer: Do not resize the FS2Crew panels. Question: I seem to have two FO's in the cockpit! Answer: Open the Maddog Load Manager, go to the "Simulator Options" section and uncheck "Enable PNF calls". Question: The FO is not moving the flaps. Answer: Disable LINDA. And ensure no hardware is connected to your flaps. Signals or noise from your hardware will "override" the signal FS2Crew sends to the aircraft to position the flaps. …

I've posted a few years back regarding getting the FO to switch on the auto-throttle switch at take-off using the FS2Crew in the Fly the Maddog X. In the real world, the FO switches on the auto-throttle switch a few seconds after the pilot advances the throttles. There was a configuration or INI File that allowed me to add that advent to the configuration or INI, and I cannot find it anywhere. Even the manual does not mention how to do this and where the file is located. I don't know why I cannot find it. That advent was added to the FS2Crew INI or Config file and I can't find it. Where is it? Ken.

Hello, since the latest update for the maddog ( build 2.1b840 for p3d v4.5 ) I cannot open the FS2Crew panel in p4d anymore ( neither with "N", nor with "vehicle" "panels", nor with the mapped joystick button ). There is no Fs2crew entry in the panel.cfg, even after repeated dis-/enabling of Fs2crew in the maddog config-panel. All installed/started with administrator rights. Tried to install from Fs2crew installer, as well as from "all in one"-installer. Still no joy. Any thoughts on this? Best regards, Toto

Hello, I have recently purchased the Maddog X for P3D V5, and I am thinking whether to get FS2CREW or MCE. Considering that MSFS seems to take over many addon developers attention from P3D I am vary how much I should invest in my current platform, and therefore I wonder if there are any new updates or features planned to implemented in the current version of FS2CREW for the MD-80? I saw that FS2CREW for the NGX has 3 separate crew flows, to make the routine more variable and less boring. Is something similar planned for the Maddog? Thanks

Goodday, Today I installed the Maddog and the FS2Crew with it. I enabled Fs2Crew in the Maddog Load Manag. I set Autofeather On/Off to my N key to open the FS2Crew panel. It is not opening when i press the N key, and when I open it up using the Vehicle\Instrument Panel dropdown the panel is black and can't interact, same for the secondary panel. Sincerely, Erik Schlijper

I have installed the Maddog rebooted with no errors in p3d v52 and have activated fs2crew in the load manager. With the maddog open in P3D the autofeather on/off toggle does not launch the Fs2crew window. I have looked at the maddog panel.cfg file and do not see any changes related to Fs2crew. Anyone have any ideas?

Hi, When I choose any other flaps besides 15 for takeoff, I only see the takeoff data card for Flaps 15. Is there a way to see other flap takeoff speeds?

I know the data cards that FS2crew is showing are provided from the leonardo MD80, but do these cards not account for derated takeoffs? The v speeds calculated from the EFB are different. Is there a way for FS2Crew to recognize the v speeds from the EFB and not the takeoff card? Also the cards only correspond to a rounded flap selection (IE: Flaps 7 instead of 6.5 in this case).

The F/O just stop doing things in the middle of Before start. During the whole process , it's impossible for me to complete before start. I got confirmation on all 3 prompts : Parking Brakes : Set Doors : Closed Start-up & Pushback Clrnce : Approved It just stop there. This is a fresh new install this morning of FS2 Crew. I am using it on the MD-8 for the first time.

Not sure how to get around this unless I have missed a setting. Every time I hit the PA button to do emergency lights test, check doors or instruct prepare for take off or landing I get the "Hi Captain What can I do for you?" question. Any ideas gratefully accepted. Due to many hours using MaddogX and FS2Crew I am finally getting somewhere with it and would not fly without it. Peter

Hi, I have a very strange issue about sound and co pilot voice. Basically, Co-pilot answer to me but I can't hear his voice.Everything works perfect: I mean, I can hear Crew voices, co-pilot does his flow, but I can't hear him at all. I have been using FS2Crew for many years and have never had this problem, especially with MADDOG which was one of my first purchases. I use P3dv4, installed the new version of Maddog (786) and reinstalled FS2Crew MaddogX Reboot (clean install). The only difference from previous times is that I bought and installed Maddog_X_Cockpit_Sound_Immersion. I don't want the latter to cause problems. What do you think…

I installed the latest maddog beta (2.0b783} this morning. i reinstalled fs2crew and made sure it was enabled in the load manager. I assigned a hotkey to Autofeather on/off. Loading up P3dV5 and the md83 pressing the assigned autofeather key I get no Fs2crew display. Anything to do with the change log line saying that the panel config would not be overridden if it had been edited. FYI i have not edited the panel config file. This is also posted in the Maddog forum

Hi, maybe I've overlooked something, but I did not find the corresponding information in the Manual yet :(. I'm on Button Control, but suddently the FO performs the takeoff and I get the role of the PM. What's the trigger in the Button Control that the FO becomes the PF? How do I become PF again? Further, how do I perform the Departure Brief with the Button Control? Thank you very much in advance

One of the preflight items in the MD80 is to run a PA and emergency lights test. To do this you have to right-click the chime button and select "PA/EMRG LTS TEST" from the option list. The MaddogX's default logic will handle the FA speaking to you to confirm everything's working. However, the FS2Crew will come over and say "Yes captain, what can I do for you?" sometime afterwards, which is superfluous. Right-clicks should probably not result in FS2Crew FA calls.

Byran, Just because I know you are sitting around with nothing to do I thought I would make your day more interesting, (OK bad joke). I know you have a list of requests for new items for the MaddogX, so I was wondering if you could/would add a voice command to cycle fuel heat. Not a biggie, but just another thing not to use the mouse for. Keep up the good work, do love the product and thanks for listening to all of these little items. Thanks, Larry Gabriel

Hey All, has anyone the same issue? I tried it now 2 times and it happened always at the same "moment" Shortly after I initialize the descent both fuel cut-off switches are set to "off" simultaneously ? I had my hand`s away from keyboard and joystick, so my only suggestion is that the CoPilot is doing it for some reason ? brgds

Whenever I tell the FO (e.g.) "Set one one zero point five on nav 1", he always sets the radio frequency to some crazy impossible frequency like 189.75. Running b753, the MadDog version that just got released.

I own all the PMDG FS2Crew products (which I've enjoyed without issue), and I've trained the speech recognition software a hundred times, but there are certain trouble phrases that for the life of me I cannot get the FS2Crew MD80 copilot to recognize. These trouble phrases are: "Passing flight level <FL> … NOW" (always recognizes it as "NO") "Slats up / slats retract" (always recognizes it as "flaps up / flaps retract") I can say these phrases 100,000 times and it's a miracle before my FO will recognize them. Any suggestions? For now I have to just skip using these phrases 😞
