Is it possible to switch a couple of gauges to get more retro feel, namely the radios and the rest of the digital gauges. Even to a clock or something, Radios from default Dc-3?

Hi, Hopefully staff at Alabeo are reading this.. Is it possible for Alabeo to publish a list of local variables for their aircraft so we can program buttons etc via macros for those not available in the normal menu.. Dave.

  3. I was wondering if anyone had done such a repaint? I can't think why Alabeo put a shadow of the yoke (and the removeable strut) on the panel! Thanks Dave

I'm having some trouble with the handling the fuel switches in this aircraft. The upper switch reads (clockwise from the top) cutoff, main(center), Power Valve, Left upper. The lower switch reads: Cutoff, Right upper, Lower right, Lower left(this one is labeled wrong, but it should be lower left). You can only use one tank at a time, so using one tank brings the aircraft out of balance. The lower switch is only working when the upper switch is in Power Valve mode. There are no fuel gauges, so how do you keep track on the amount of fuel in all 5 tanks. And all tanks are not too large, so you'd have to switch in time, before a tank is running dry. How do you know whe…

NOT my description but one put forward by a 'southern Taff' who learned to fly at Swansea airport's Cambrian Flying Club in this PA 38 Tomahawk: He asked me to do the paint for him: Unfortunately the chrome spinner is apparently embedded in the model so I couldn't make it white. It's on AVSIM library or click on my signature and have a rummage around. Hedfan hapus

  6. Alabeo posted about an hour ago the following picture on Facebook: They also just updated their profile picture with a more shiny logo. Looks like they're going in a new direction. What do you think?

Last night I downloaded the Cardinal from the Alabeo site, but the first two download attempts failed due to 'timeout' of a slow download although luckily the last download was successful. This was not a function of my computer or my broadband speed as I have downloaded considerably larger files (over 2GBs in the case of some Aerosoft airports) from other sites at far higher speeds. I was quite surprised and disappointed however to see that one is only allowed a maximum of 3 downloads, so I have now used all of my attempts through no fault of my own. I do not think this is a good policy and I know that other developers are not so restrictive. Indeed, I have bought alm…

  8. for those who have not heard, Reality XP's awsome GPS units have finally been upstaged by the new GTN750/650 full color units. They have just about every thing the real GTN units have and seem to work the same way the Reality XP GPS untis work. They use an outside trainer program, Also they can be purchased seporately for both FSX and P3Dv2. Full WAAS and Safe Taxi plus airport charts can be viewed along with GPWS and Airtrafic alerting and can be crossfilled. This would be I great thing to start including in all and future aircraft VCs.

  9. The bundle that contains the C177B in both FG and RG versions was released about half an hour ago. As expected, this bundle costs more than previous Alabeo aircraft, specifically $28.95. Also, it was released the same day as the A2A Piper Cheroke 180. ^_^

  10. New project from Alabeo, the DA40. This one seems closer to completion compared to previous reveals. It looks very similar to the PiperSport and it looks really nice in my opinion! I'll be following this, and can't wait for more news on the Cardinal too.

Anyone know how this can be fixed because the developer doesn't seem to be showing much interest in sorting it? I find it impossible to tune the ADF in the tommy using TrackIR :( cheers k

Hi, After installing ALSTD17JAY.exe to FSX, only one file, the aircraft.cfg file, appears in the Alabeo D17 Staggerwing folder . I've used up all 3 downloads thinking I somehow screwed up the install, which is quite possible. I'd appreciate any suggestions. Thanks Jack

Alabeo just put up on their Facebook page that they are doing the RG version as well as the FG. Very nice. Dave.
