	Is there any alternative download server for an Alabeo purchase. There seems to be a chronic problem with their server - it is so slow it would literally take a week or more to download my 465 MB purchase.

<p>
	For years now, Carenado/Alabeo  have put various sized N numbers on their aircraft, but they never seem to be the RIGHT size, at least until just the more recent releases. US N numbers are to be no less than 12" high and have certain spacing, color and background requirements as well. Carenado just seems to make them whatever size will fit in the space they decide to put it or that looks good with the livery. I notice most repainters do this as well. Look at photos of the real aircraft, then look at the sims. Not even close to the right size.
</p>

<p>
	I know it sounds nit picky, but it really detracts from the realism for me.
</p>

<p>
	I also wish they would at least include ONE original factory livery for each aircraft. I love the old school 60's and 70's liveries for the Piper's, Cessna's and Beech's but can never get one that really looks like it did when first delivered.

	Yes, I know it is years old and probably won't even be acknowledged, let alone fixed, but solves a mystery for me.

<p>
	Hi,
</p>

<p>
	I posted this on another board but didn't get a solution. I truly enjoy flying the Ovation in X-Plane 11, but the wind noise is unbearable and takes away all of the fun of flying this amazing aircraft. From shortly after rotation and all the way through climb, cruise and descent, the sound of the wind is so out of proportion with ambience inside the aircraft, that it is now rendering it unusable. I have activated the Bose noise canceling, and that helped a little, but it is still very difficult to hear the output sounds from the engine - especially during the important phases of climb and descent. I have already tried every possible adjustment combination in XP's sound setup, as well as totally disabling wind sounds in XP Realistic. I would really hate to have to ground this aircraft because of this. Is there any way to fix this?
</p>

<p>
	Thanks in advance for any and all suggestions.

	I have to say, their GA offerings are just awesome. I have 40 hours in the Seminole and just bought the Chieftain, and for all the trouble you usually associate with landing GA airplanes in P3D, these airplanes all fly and land like a dream.

	Just bought the Chieftain, but do not find any Alabeo panel layout information. For example: tried to put in an ADF setting, but could not get what I thought was the ADF instrument to set what I needed.
</p>

<p>
	Is there there a photo of the Chieftain panel with everything noted? I'm not a newbie at this sim stuff, but each aircraft has its own layout and finding your way around is sometimes a problem.
</p>

<p>
	Carenado does provide a panel photo and that helps as does A2A. Maybe there is a good, in depth YouTube video of the panel (no, not just a review of the plane overall), if so I'd like a reference.

<p>
	For a developer which has had a steady flow of new products since it appeared on the scene years ago, Alabeo now seems to have fallen into a state of hibernation. Their last new product was, I think, the Cessna 170 which was released last year and they have been uncharacteristically silent since, with nothing on their ‘incoming’ page for months. Maybe they are going to go back under the Carenado brand or maybe they have just run out of ideas!

<p>
	Not sure this topic was already covered elsewhere, but when flying the Alabeo Piper Chieftain in X-Plane 11, every time I am ready to touch-down on a runway, the aircraft veers left and crashes off the runway. I have tried this at different airports and the same thing happens. Final approach is right on and speed and config just fine during the entire approach. But, when I begin to flare, the aircraft just wants to go off to the left and cartwheel into the grass. I have no problem with this flying the Carenado Navajo or any other Alabeo airplanes. Since the Chieftain is designed for both XPlane 10 and XPlane 11, I am wondering if there is something in the coding causing this.

	Guys I just wanted to make a simple request. On the next development projects, is it possible to spend a little more time in development, and make ALL lighting in the cockpits dimmable? Please? Pretty Please? In the world of VR nowadays, it totally sucks flying with bright lights in the cockpit at night! I’m willing to pay more for the add-ons. Please take this request into consideration. As a result, when I start the engine it goes straight to 100% RPM. Alabeo's checklist specifies closing and opening the throttle, but it doesn't seem to affect anything. What am I doing wrong?

<p>
	Dear community,
</p>

<p>
	I just bought Alabeo DA42 to train for my actual ME/IR on a real life DA42.  Although Alabeo looks fenominal I do experience some issue's that make's it impossible to train. But maybe I am doing something wrong.
</p>

<p>
	First issue is the Garmin 1000 PFD. The direct to button works, the FPL button works, however MENU and PROC doesn't seem to work? Am I doing something wrong or can I make it work as the default G1000 in the Cessna 172??? If I can't punch in departure, arrivals and approaches, then this makes this simulator not suitable for training the real thing.  I downloaded all the Cerenado data. Am I doing something wrong or do these buttons really not work?
</p>

<p>
	Second issue. When I do the start up go the plane, release the parking brake and start taxiing, when I stop at a intersection, the parking brake slides in and I can not release it. The only option seems to be restart the flight, but then it happens again. Why does this Diamond keep rolling into parking brake.
</p>

<p>
	Third......the cockpit is made in an amazing detail......however......where are the fuel pump switches. They are not in the spot where they are in reality.
</p>

<p>
	I hope these issues are fixable, then it would be the perfect aircraft in my opinion.
</p>

<p>
	Thank you for your help.

	Just reinstalled the Robinson R66 in P3Dv4.3 and noticed that the VOR gauge is non-functional. Can anyone else confirm?

<p>
	I can change the compass card on the gauge using the OBS knob, I can tune a VOR frequency on the radio, and I can receive the appropriate Morse signal through the radio, but I have no response from the VOR needles. I have tried multiple VORs across multiple locations. I have also ensured that I'm not in some hidden inadvertent "GPS" mode with the avionics (despite lacking a GPS), and I have confirmed VOR functionality with other aircraft in the same region. No response to an ILS beam either.
</p>

<p>
	I sent a report highlighting this to Carenado today, but also hope to confirm my observations with the general user base too.
