Hey, Gang. I would like to hear any one's thoughts who uses, or has used, the program Sim Launcher X (any version) by Maarten Boelens found here on AVSIM. Maybe some pros & cons, the ease of use, the difficulties, those type of things. Thanks for any replies, Jim E.

  2. Alright folks, The Boeing 777 Route Database will be uploaded shortly (my apologies for the delay). Any requests, additions, criticism, help, or compliments should go in this official thread. In case you missed my post this morning concerning this product, please read a brief rundown below: This database was created by hand, through Excel, encompassing hundreds of flights carried out by the major alliance carriers (unfortunately, EK was excluded due to the sheer number of flights they offer). The 777-200, 777-200ER, 777-300, and 777-300ER are included in this file with very simple information listed clearly. This flight database has many uses: Simple …

Hi everyone - I have a problem with the doors on the FSX base installation A321 from Project Airbus ... (including the supplied panel). Interestingly, the doors on the A319 from the same website work according to the documentation. Doors 1L and 4L both work with the nominated key commands (Shift+E and Shift+E+2 respectively), although 4L opens much more slowly than 1L. However, doors 1R and 4R , and cargo doors do not open with the nominated key commands (Shift+E+3 and Shift+E+4 respectively). If anyone has a solution to this problem, or a gauge which will work as a fix, I would be glad to hear from you! Regards! ozzieblr

  4. Started by Sevinsyn,

So I got sick and tired of the original CRJ textures, so I'm in the process of making my own, and plan to make them public. as well as the rest of the files with all new realistic sounds, and coded cfg for performance and fms and gpws use. I'd like to alter the cockpit but I cant find anything to convert the .mdl so I can use max 2011 with it. Any feedback as far as the textures go? I saw someone made some but they were blue or purple or something which isnt quite realistic at all, but what do I know, I'm into Embraer lol [imghttps://fbcdn-sphotos-h-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-xpf1/v/t34.0-12/10945962_922000377812746_92767375_n.jpg?oh=1d18e31097ba33ed793efda16e042d…

Will SkySpirit or TDS ever build a replacement for the POSKY 777v2 . Bcuz after CS and PMDG releasing their own versions of 777's , i thought a freeware 777 should be developed.

Today, we'll be looking at what it takes to create a custom AI traffic package. By request of a user, we will focus on FedEx, though the procedure works similarly for any AI you want to create. First, it's a good idea to grab the following tool: http://stuff4fs.com/open.asp?Folder=AIFP&JS=TRUE This is AI Flight Planner, AIFP for short, and is what you need to generate the flight plans. Next, you'll want to read the manual, which is here. http://stuff4fs.com/Applications/AIFP/AI%20Flight%20Planner.pdf To get started on creating a custom AI package, you'll need some flight plans. The latest FedEx AI can be downloaded in our library here. http://library.a…

Hi Everyone. What I am aiming to do is give ALL developers the chance to have the hard work viewed by the masses. What I am doing is making products when released for FSX or FS9 available for a LIVE view with in the first 24-48 Hours they are released. The aim is to bring the product to life for those that wish to see your product in its raw form. This will NEVER be an avenue for me or my viewers to be critics during the LIVE stream. What you get is what you see will be the angle of attack. I will use as many as three or four products during the review...such as: The PMDG 737 & 777. Majestic Dash8 and Quality Wings 146 Collection. Also, I ma…

I just finished up my very first addition to the AVSIM library, a route database encompassing EVERY Emirates route that will be flown through the month of August, accompanied by aircraft type usage, departure and arrival airports, flight numbers, and flight time. Here is the description in the library: The Emirates Route Database is provided in a .pdf file organized by flight number. Also included in the database are scheduled aircraft, flight time, and departure and arrival airports. There are also notes regarding changes made in the routes month to month. It will be updated once each month. Please view the readme to understand how to read the Route Database as well…

Hi all, After about one year of silence, I would like to once again welcome myself to this forum. Over the next few days, I intend to release a considerable amount of content, starting with a guide on putting together a custom AI package. Following that, I'll be doing some reviews, mostly focusing on FS9 stuff. Hope to see this forum get more populated, and sorry about the absence, Adlai
