	<font size="3">Few might have been aware .... but .... <strong>"APRIL 9TH"</strong><b><span> </span></b>represented a date of major historic significance on the real world aviation calendar. On this particular date .... back in 1967 .... the B737 <strong>(in SERIES 100 form)</strong><span> </span>first flew and what's since become a civil aviation legend was then born. </font>

	Hey everyone, I've been working on a free web tool called SimLetsFly and wanted to share it here for some feedback.
</p>

<p>
	The idea is simple — it's a random flight generator for sim pilots. You set your criteria (location, distance, airport size, runway type, fuel, nav aids) and it finds you a random departure and arrival pairing you'd never think to plan yourself. Great for bush flying, airline ops, GA — whatever you fly.
</p>

<p>
	<strong>What it does:</strong>
</p>

<ul>
	<li>
		Filters by continent/country/region, airport type, runway surface, length, fuel, and nav aids (ILS/VASI/ALS)
	</li>
	<li>
		Pulls live METAR weather for both airports with a plain-English decoder
	</li>
	<li>
		Shows distance, bearing, and estimated flight time based on your cruise speed
	</li>
	<li>
		Route map with departure and arrival plotted
	</li>
	<li>
		Copy a full flight brief to clipboard
	</li>
</ul>

<p>
	<strong>Free account features:</strong>
</p>

<ul>
	<li>
		Save flights to your own logbook
	</li>
	<li>
		Rate your flights across 8 categories (takeoff, landing, procedures, ATC, scenery, etc.)
	</li>
	<li>
		Add pilot notes and mark flights as completed
	</li>
	<li>
		Share any flight via a public link — anyone can open it and save it to their own account
	</li>
	<li>
		Pin your home airports as favorites
	</li>
</ul>

<p>
	It works in the browser, no install needed. Check out the "Help" button for more information located on the site. (Feedback button is also on the help page)
</p>

<p>
	<strong><span class="ipsEmoji">👉</span> <a href="http://www.simletsfly.com" rel="external nofollow">simletsfly.com</a> </strong>
</p>

<p>
	Would love to hear what you think — bugs, feature ideas, anything. Still early but it's fully functional. Thanks!

	Hi everybody,
</p>

<p>
	for some reason I am desperately surching the install file A320FMGS_B54.1.2.exe for my full scale DIY A320 cockpit. I already adressed Jean-Luc who is the developer of this wonderful freeware but for what reason soever he doesn't keep older versions of his software.
</p>

<p>
	So if someone here has this file still on his harddisk I would be very grateful if he could give me acces to a copy.

	<strong>"HJG JULY/SUMMERTIME SURPRISES RELEASE"</strong><br />
	 <br />
	As HJG's 25th anniversary celebrations (2000-2025) continue the group has pleasure announcing its July/Summertime and 3rd release for 2025 featuring some 143 "NEW" and "UPGRADED" files .... for the "FREE" enjoyment of FS2004 and FSX users.
</p>

<p>
	The bulk of this latest and large release is composed of textures for the HJG offered B727 (-100/-200), B737 (-200/-300/-400/-500), BAC ONE-ELEVEN (DMFS -400), DC-9 (-10/-30, MD-80 (-82/-83), and RJ-100 flight lines.
</p>

<p>
	If the content of past HJG releases has been touted as akin to "a colourful league of nations", then, such previous commentary might now be regaded as an understatement considering the content of this latest release .... within which civil operators from Australia, the Bahamas, Belgium, Brunei, Canada, Cambodia/Kampuchea, Czechovslovakia, Colombia, Denmark, Ethiopia, Gambia, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Guatemala, Honduras, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Liberia, Lithuania, Mali, Morocco, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Portugal/Azores, Russia, Spain, Sudan, Tanzania, Thailand, the Ukraine, the UK, the USA/Hawaii, Venezuela, Yemen, former Yugoslavia, and Zambia are included .... and among which classic/historic, hybrid, and celebratory/promotional liveries for PAX, cargo, and corporate operators from the 1970's, 80's, 90's, and throughout 2000's until this present day are each authentically represented.
</p>

<p>
	3X "UPGRADED" liveries are being offered too .... thus rendering these re-released textures "SUPERIOR" to their original file versions.
</p>

<p>
	3X "NEW" and livery dictated aircraft base packs are also included among these latest HJG offerings as well .... to ensure some of the texture content included within this latest release is better supported by specific aircraft type/configuration variations for greater fidelity .... "in so far as such is practiceable within the finite limitations imposed by FS".
</p>

</p>

<p>
	Continuing its 25th anniversary celebrations: HJG (Historic Jetliners Group) have pleasure announcing its 2nd release for this 2025 FS year .... a total of some 42 "UPGRADED" files for both FS2004 and FSX.

</p>

<p>
	The oringinal HJG DC-9 Aircraft Base Packs were both FS2004 and FSX compatible as has also always been the case with regard to their supporting customized DC-9 type P&amp;W JT8D sound packs too (separate FS9 and FSX specific audio offerings) .... BUT .... the original HJG DC-9 Panels were only ever FS2004 compatible. <br />
	 <br />
	<strong><span style="color:#c0392b;">Be advised the "new/upgraded" DC-9 panels included within this latest HJG release are now both "FS2004 and FSX compatible". </span>As part of their upgrading some not previously represented features are also now included within these "new/upgraded" DC-9 panels too.  </strong>

<p>
	This latest release is composed of both "NEW" and "UPGRADED" texture files for the HJG offered B727's, B737's, BAe 146's, C-135's, DC-9's, and MD-80's .... accumulatively representing another a colourful passage through time and aviation history .... featuring both classic and modern definitive, hybrid and celebratory/promotional, and military uniformed liveries from the 1960's, 70's, 80's, and 90's era until the present day .... covering both PAX, freight, and VIP configured aircraft utilized by both civil and military operators from Argentina, Belgium, Bolivia, Botswana, Brazil, Canada, Denmark, France, Ireland, Malaysia, Malta, Mexico, New Caledonia, Nigeria, Paraguay, Peru, Romania, South Africa, UK, and the USA &amp; Hawaii .... and among which a couple of late 1990's era "WHAT IF" aircraft/liveries (that "very nearly", but "eventually didn't", evolve into civil aviation reality due to sudden circumstantial changes within the US corporate aviation world) are also included.

<p>
	Dear friends and Simmer colleagues
</p>

<p>
	We have gone through everything in the team, so there is no reason to wait with the release. So it goes online.
</p>

<p>
	<img alt="Malta-Filebase-1024x288.jpg" class="ipsImage" data-ratio="28.13" height="288" width="1024" src="https://www.avsim.com/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" data-src="https://simmershome.de/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Malta-Filebase-1024x288.jpg"></p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	After 14 months of development time and more than 1500 hours of work, a lot of "up and down" with obstacles that had to be overcome, I am proud and happy to be able to provide you with this scenery completely as freeware.
</p>

<p>
	It's no exaggeration to say that it is the most extensive Malta implementation ever released for the flight simulator. Within the bounds of my possibilities I have tried hard to create a largely real and high quality implementation.
</p>

<p>
	Please note: this scenery contains so much content that the whole islands can be seen as one big airport. Nevertheless it remains airworthy.
</p>

<p>
	The download is now available in the filebase of the forum from simmershome
