B350i King Air HD Series for FSX | P3D

Anyone else notice the FMS doesn't contain smaller airports, making flight planning almost impossible. For example, F97, F53, etc, don't show up in the FMS.

On the King Air B350i I have to be closer to the Instrument Panel to read everything, is there any way to adjust the seat up or move the panel down a little to see out better ? Thanks for any help.

Has anyone solved the landing gear lights problem in the B350i? The setup seems to be almost exactly the same as the B200, but it doesn't work at all in the 350. I went through the gauges and did a run with a VARWATCHER file. Everything seems OK except the lights don't work when the code says they're supposed to.

It's possible to choose what digit to set with the inner knob but nothing happens when cycling the outer knob for changing the digit itself. btw: outer knob works for other actions (COM setting, etc.). using 350i v1.1 in P3D v3

Its out but it does not work in P3D 3 and I dont see GTN support Ok they have posted this but not sure what they are talking about ? Only FSX and P3D 2.5/Not available in P3D v3.0 Ah just noticed its the weather radar screen

i understand about engine torque and how it requires rudder input on takeoff to correct, but the 350i seems to have an excess of torque compared to other twin engine aircraft such as the Carenado B200. Has anyone else noticed this? Is there any way to adjust this in the aircraft.cfg file? Also, I'm not sure if this excess torque is responsible,, but when I use the 350i as an AI aircraft, it veers to the right on a 45 deg angle on takeoff roll. Thanks for any input you might have.

Why should I buy the 350i over say the B200? Is it "better?"

Dear fellow simmers. After many hours of testing and reading all posts about Carenado's B350i on this forum, I created a 'list of quirks, that I uploaded to the support desk. I have over 100, sometimes irretating and confusing hours on this kite and I think it's time for some re-coding of the software. Until SP1 arrives, I'll leave it in my hangar. Is anyone else with the 350i suffering from long and abrupt takeoffs. I thought the 350i rotates at 110 KIAS but the Carenado versions doesn't want to rotate until reaching about 140 KIAS. And when it flies off it just rockets up in the air. No other aircraft gives me this problem.

So far, I have not found a way to make the reversers engage simultaneously. I can only pull one throttle lever back at a time. This causes the aircraft to pull quickly and strongly to one side or the other depending on which throttle lever I pull first. Is there a way to move both throttle levers to the "Ground Fine" position simultaneously? Thanks, Mike

The 350i is working great for me, but there is one glitch. The battery operated PFD above the radio, center panel does not work at all. Could I be missing some file. I'm not sure what;s it's called or where to look. Thanks. Bill

Three landing gear lights are always off ... all the time ! (approach gear down and ground) Have you this problem ? (FSX Windows 10) The others aircrafts are ok.

Hi, I've managed to figure out most of the B350i (still working on the Proline 21), but I find that the APPR button on the FGP panel doesn't seem to work. This happens with the autopilot on, altitude hold on, ILS frequency tuned on NAV 1, and within range and on course. I can activate approach mode by selecting a button I have programmed with FSUIPC. Anyone else have this problem? Dale

Hi, Since the checklist provided by Carenado is not very handy, I created a short and more pratical one. I fly using PF3 ATC, so there are lines inserted for ATC activity. If you don't fly on ATC, just ignore them. Furtermore I made the checklist more logical and based on my own experience in real life flight. Pages 1 and 2 of the pdf can be printed two-sided and after that you can cut 1/3rd off (A4 paper). The third page is for the V-speeds only. Enjoy using it. Can anyone help please? I am no guru as far as computers are concerned and I am 73 years old (I have learned using computers at the age of 55) but love using my flight simulator x. Lately have purchased the King Air 350 fpc and I have managed to add to it, an FMC (which I purchase separately) and now I am trying to change the 'FP Map 100' to a Garmin 500 which for me is more user friendly and has much more information like nearest airport etc Have tried introducing the [Window02] size_mm=456,378 window_size=0.5 position=8 BACKGROUND_COLOR=0,0,0 VISIBLE=0 ident=GPS_PANEL zorder=4 gauge00=fs9gps!gps_500, 0,0 BUT wouldn't work. Greetings, When I updated the Navgraph data for Carenado (all products), the runway, SID, and STAR data for many airports are not showing anymore on the FMC DEP/ARR page. Any ideas why? Thank you for the help in advance. Faisal.

Has anyone else had issues with graphics card crashing and recovering then P3D getting a fatal error? I am running the latest version of P3D v3 and for some reason my graphic card crashes approximately 5 minutes after loading the sim then recovers and when it recovers I my screen comes back to P3D blacked out and eventually getting a fatal error. At first I thought it might be an issue with my drivers but this only seems to happen when I am using this aircraft, I can hop in my A2A C182 and fly with no issues.

If I was Carenado, I would stop advertising this aircraft as being compatible with P3Dv3. I have a LM P3Dv3 Content Error Log which is too large to paste here (tried twice). I have 853 errors reported. The aircraft starts ok, I can program the fms, alla that but with that many reported errors I'm going no further trying to find out what doesn't work. Off to flightsimstore to get a refund. Jon

Greetings! I'm trying to get acquainted with this aircraft. How does one power on the display window that is below the Radio Call/N# placard and above the radio tuning window? Also, can FSX created flight plans be imported into the CDU and flown? Thanks, Scott

I've noticed that advancing the throttles during takeoff over speeds the props (temporarily) when the condition lever is at full. Is this normal behavior for the 350i? I couldn't find any condition setting during takeoff in the manual, but I've assumed they should be full forward.

When I load a flight plan to the FMC on the King Air 350, I cannot seem to be able to get the autopilot to link with it to fly the planned flight. I should mention that I am fairly familiar with the Carenado Proline system as I also have the Carenado Hawker 850XP which I have been flying successfully (within the limits of the various Carenado quirks!) using the FMC/AP combination. As I cannot find any video tutorials as yet related to the Carenado King Air 350 and, as the manuals leave a bit to be desired, I guess I must be omitting some key step but I cannot identify what this might be and I wondered if anyone else has had this issue with the King Air?
