Seems I am quite late to the party. Recently acquired the Carenado Beech 350 and would like to add the Blackhawk mod if possible. have been unable to send wamill77 a PM so I'm wondering if anyone else might still have it available.

Why the heck does my proline21 NAV autopilot fly me off course deliberately! I'm on a flight from KTPA to KPAH and this happens, the first image shows me 20miles off course with no correction but oddly the second image will show you that it steers to the waypoint when it gets closer and image 3 will show you how it goes off course once it passes the waypoint. This never happens on my first flight, only the second flight, my only guess would be precession HOWEVER this is the proline21 so it should be automatically updating its self for magnetic variation. I don't understand, please help and thank you.

  Bought the subject aircraft not long ago for FSX.  Setting up my initial flight I noticed the

FMS shows a database from 2016 and I get some sort of quickly vanishing Nav related

error message as the aircraft loads. 

  I have installed the latest Navigraph data base for Carenado so I'm thinking that something

is wrong here. I read that there should be a file named Carenavigraph.dll on my

"C" drive but I cannot find a file by that name on my PC so perhaps this has something

to do with the issue.

   It appears that the necessary "Carenavigraph" entry is in my DLL.xml file so this is likely not

the problem..

  Any tips for a fix will be greatly appreciated.

I am in final testing of a modification for the Carenado King Air B350i that emulates the Blackhawk modification to -67A engines.  The airplane is a beast as you can see from their website.

Climb to FL350 in 18 minutes.....332KTAS at FL280......  And by Blackhawk's own admission those numbers are conservative.  They have not yet published a POH, but they pretty much guarantee the POH numbers will be better than the current marketing numbers.  I have seen some of their data and they are approaching 325KTAS at FL350 and 340KTAS at FL280. 

I could not, of course, put the 5-blade props in the visual model, but the performance is there.

Summary:

1.  Since Carenado failed to put a landing gear position indicator in the airplane, I used open spaces in the lower annunciator panel for the function.

2.  XMLTools engine start sequence and adjusted propeller dynamics.  No more runaway engine and much less abrupt coming in and out of Beta. 

3.  Optional Torque Limiter (fictitious for this airplane).  Some folks like it because it tends to offset the abysmal engine PID controller in FSX/P3D.

4.  Corrected starter/generator functionality. 

5.  Contact points corrected to coincide with visual model.  FDE updated accordingly. 

6.  Blackhawk PT-6-67A performance.

7.  Optional pressurization controller.  Pressurization automatically controlled through autopilot altitude select function.  The pressurization controller is well out of the way in the VC and Carenado did not provide a 2D popup for it. 

8.  Optional throttle and propeller matching algorithm.  With power levers or propeller levers very close together (assumes pilot intends to match levers), the levers are automatically matched anywhere throughout the operating range. 

9. Works with default PL21 or the GTN mod. 

10.  Added clickspots for altitude, heading, course, vertical speed, climb speed.

11.  Added TO/GA button to autopilot VC panel.  Most folks do not have a hardware TO/GA button and the one in the VC is difficult to engage.  While the button is fictitious, it is very convenient and adds a standard functionality to the airplane. 

12.  Flap aerodynamics changed to more accurately simulate real world behavior. 

13. FLC mode now captures selected altitude. 

14. Corrected excess glare in night cockpit textures.   

I am not yet finished with the details but it should be ready within the next couple of weeks or so.  I will send it out to everyone that is already on the mailing list for the C90GTX, C441, 690B, and PA31T.  If you have not previously sent me an email address and would like to try this mod when it's finished, please PM me your email address.

I just purchased the Carenado King Air B350i and immediately I run into the "Loading Data Base" info/error/message on the FMS display unit.

I searched the internet and found that some people reinstalled the aircraft but installed it as FSX instead of FSX-SE (if running FSX-SE). So I did that, but the problem still shows up. If I press "shift + 9, the progress window remains at 0%.

There is a post in this forum from August 2016 or 2017 with P3D, but no resolve.

Has anyone solved this problem for FSX-SE?

For anyone who has done the mod, have you experienced this and if so do you have any suggestions as to how I can get the taxi speeds down to a normal 5 to 10 knots???  Mod works great and it flys like a dream once airborne.

Any help would be appreciated. Go to A/C are the 350i, PC12, 550 and 690 Turbo commander.

I am a subscriber to the Navigraph database  but don't see  an  update window  the  first  time  I  run  the  aircraft  after  updating the database. It is nowhere to be seen.

My  EMB505 PHENOM 300 HD works just fine ... but of course, I have the NAVIGRAPH EMB505 PHENOM 300 EXTENSION PACK installed.

Any  help  with this  would be great.

Found it to be very twitchy on the controls and put it on AP, but it was still moving around more than I would expect.

Unrealistically so.

I went out from a hot start.

Are there any initial settings I should have put in place to dampen down the flight behavior, (wing dropping, slewing & nose tossing)?

I have noticed that when I pull up the CDU from the view window, I am missing the bottom of the CDU (button selection). Any suggestions?

I know there’s info regarding the cabin altitude dial in other posts for different aircraft but I’m at a loss how to adjust the settings in the b350i as the dial is stuck in position.

How can I change the cabin altitude setting when I cannot rotate the dial. What process is available to make this work.

Update: Problem solved by commenting out gauge08 from whamil77 panel.cfg of the Panel.GTN folder.

for example  N2118.39 W15749.06

that are present in the FSX data base.

Any way around this ?
