    is there any way to turn down the brightness of the main display on the left, I'm assuming that is the PFD? The attitude indicator is very bright. I can't find any means to turn it out down. The Brt/Dim button at the lower right doesn't seem to be functioning. Is there a way to turn it down in a config file even?

    Two things I'm struggling with with this aircraft at the moment. 1) Props full forward for touchdown. I find that if I do this, the spoolup time for a go-around is a lot longer. Also if I do it in advance of the touchdown, it makes riding the throttle harder for this reason. Plus it's something that gets in the way of me accurately touching down. What is it for and is it really necessary? I thought it was for prepping the reversers, but the reverser works even without it full forward? Is it less effective? Because it's getting in the way of my landing so much, I'm thinking of ditching it... plus there's nothing in my checklist that says that after rollout, to bring t…

    Did a couple of approaches into EGNS tonight with crosswinds ranging from 19-23kts. Probably too high (although did some very quick research online and I found the aircraft should be capable of this? Unless my sources are dodgy) - but both times on landing my aircraft veered off INTO the wind (not with it). Did some tests doing takeoffs in various degrees of crosswind, and I found that above about 15kts crosswind the aircraft veers off the runway into the wind rather than with it. Anybody got any info on why this phenomenon may be, and what the crosswind limits are for this A/C? Is the wind hitting the tail and spinning the aircraft......?? I'm using Activ…

  8. Was just doing a nice approach when all of a sudden at about 500' the throttles went into full as if a TOGA was activated. Couldn't drag them back at all. Went into control calibration, my Saitek was being read absolutely fine, no problems. Go back out of it and then I can suddenly control the throttle again. Any advice on why this happened and how I can stop it happening again would be much appreciated. Saitek is fine, works perfectly with every other aircraft and calibrates perfectly.

    Hi, I was flying from KTPA to KMIA and was loading the STAR "CYY9" int the FMS and into the Aivlasoft EFB. Both are updated with AIRAC 1802 rev 1 (Feb 01 -Feb 02) but i get the following waypoints: EFB: CYY9 / RSW = CYY- DEEDS-WORPP-DHP transition RWS; KA 350i: CYY9 transition RSW RWY 08R = COPRA-LAWN-RWY 08R; The same approach produces 2 different waypoints????     Ok hopefully someone can shed some light on this issue because i have googled the keys off my keyboard trying to find a fix for the king air and hawker and every other damn carenado navigraph equiped airplane ive paid for thinking it would work as advertised. Sorry..a bit frustrated about the money spent for two boat anchors that i cant use..ughh..with the 350i in particular as i have given up on the hawker. If i install it and go to load the airplane it has maybe 1fps and will NOT load the navigraph database. If i remove permissions (as suggested) on the carenavigraph folder the fps go up to about 15fps but drop to maybe 4 as soon as i kick on the avionics (proline 21 i …

    Just install the 350 3 days ago, the 1st and 2nd flt was good, lasted about 20 to 30 mins as test a flight, now the last 6 or 7 flt have all dies about 4 or 5 mins in flt. have a very loud alert and the speed drop from around 250 to less than 90 by the time it crashes. I do have only Alt and Headging on the AP.

    Hi, I understand that the King Air 350i is now also good for P3DV4. It installed correctly, but now the database is not loading. On the FMC the Text Database loading appears, but on the window it stays at 0%. Any idea what the reason maybe? Thanks!

    Maneuvering Speed (Va) 184 KIAS Maximum Flap Extension / Extended Speed (Vfe) - Approach 202 KIAS Maximum Flap Extension / Extended Speed (Vfe) - Down 158 KIAS Maximum Landing Gear Operating Speed (Vlo) - Extension 184 KIAS Maximum Landing Gear Operating Speed (Vlo) - Retraction 166 KIAS If you're having gear horn silencing difficulties, it's probably because you've reduced below 50% TRQ and are @ or below 2500' AGL. Just knowing you can go flaps down starting at 202 KIAS should help silence that stupid horn.

    Hey guys, Good morning. Is it just me or there is a huge bug in Carenado's King Air 350? When climbing and descending sometimes I get a close to the ground image at certain times during the flight. Very annoying during descent because it thinks you are going to crash and alarms start ringing for the gear to go down, even as high as 10000ft. Any suggestions on how to fix this? I don't think it's a feature, unless I am wrong. Check out the screenshot attached. Teo
