Apart from the fact that the Fuel Tank Selector panel is upside down (just like the real aircraft - makes it simpler to read from the real pilots' seats), just how do you make it visible at night? I have searched everywhere for a switch for the very obvious light, but cannot find it. Does one exist? Also, what is the procedure for changing tank selectors from inboard tanks to outboard tanks and back again? Do I switch ON the cross-feed selector first, then make the tank selection? Just moving the tank selectors from one position to another produces a significant yawing as the engine(s) get an interrupted fuel feed. Thanks in advance for any help. rr

Just finished the mod to the Navajo. Includes: 1. Completely rebuilt KFC-200 Autopilot to more closely comply with the operator's manual. (Manufacturer's manual included) 2. Corrected Low Fuel Flow annunciators to more accurately reflect the real-world Navajo. 3. Performance adjustments to bring the simulator closer to real-world and POH performance numbers. 4. Correct fuel system functionality. Gauges now show quantity of the selected tank. Crosfeed works correctly. Tanks can be switched without engine immediately quitting. 5. Main and baggage door ajar now displays correctly on the annunicator panel. 6. The normal optional throttle …

Flew Carenado Navajo today in X-Plane 11. After a somewhat rough landing, a loud obnoxious sound started blaring. I could not find anywhere to shut it off. Even after a taxi to the ramp and complete shutdown of engines, electrical, and even master switch, it kept blaring. It sounded much like a European style police or emergency siren. Anyone know what this might be and, more importantly, how to silence it? Thanks Denny Knepper Newville, PA USA

Hi all I know most GA Aircraft these days have a GPS installed but I wondered if any one has made a MOD that removes the GPSs from the PA31 to add just radios as I love to fly the old IFR way of bearings and radials etc . Plus with the GPS I notice the blue water display is nearly the same colour as the waypoints so I can't make them out . thanks Rich

I am a simple flying instructor, not an X-Plane whizzkid. Can anyone give me simple, straightforward, non-jargony, instructions of how to install a G600 (or G500) into the Carenado PA31? It would be nice if it were generalised to other aircraft. Thank you!

I am using P3D v4.3 and the blue dome light in the plane lights up when turned on but does not illumine the cabin at all. The other lights (instrument and overhead panel) work fine though. Has anyone had this issue and found a solution? Thank You!

I’m reasonably new to simming but have been flying RW for more than twenty years. Could someone one help me with why I can’t display the conventional DME on either of the the bending king readouts despite being able to tune them. I’m trying to avoid the requirement to use the GPS system at this stage, I never had it when I operated Chieftains and Navajos myself. Your help would be appreciated.

The POH for this type describes four tanks - Inboard & Outboard per side. My question is how are the outboard quantities indicated? The aircraft.cfg looks like all four tanks are modeled. I suspect it is all grouped together simply as Left & Right. I can't find ther answer in the real world POH either. Thanks / Les Parson

Hi everybody! I got the Navajo for Xplane and I noticed the "left and right gen lts" on the annunciator panel stay on after engine start with no way to light them off. Did anybody who got this plane for Xplane noticed that before I open a ticket with Carenado? I have this plane for P3D and there is problem like this so far! Regards Pat

Hi Folks, Anyone know some realistic power settings for climb and cruise ? The old rule of thumb doesn’t seem to apply here where you always keep Prop RPM above Manifold Pressure - since the Navajo goes so high on Manifold Pressure... What do the blue areas on the RPM and Manifold Pressure Guages indicate ? Thanks... Regards, Scott

As I can imagine is not posible to remove the passenger seats of the virtual cockpit in carenado piper navajo, but is there any way carenado could think about a new model without seats and windows (freighter) or a not executive configuration? (Conmuter airliner configuration?) Pd: would be great a freight config in the do228 too. Who knows, is time for miracles!

I am writing this review for several reasons a. I absolutely love this aircraft b. I found too many inaccurate assumptions regarding performance/systems c. I found several negative reviews regarding this product which I don't believe are accurate d. ***within the limits of FSX I find this aircraft to be modeled extremely well*** My background I am in no way affiliated with carenado or any fsx developer I have over 500 hours as captain in the pa31 Navajo and chieftain combined operated single pilot mostly night IMC This is my first ever review so bare with me if its not in the traditional format (constructive criticism is appreciated) Lets start with s…

I don't think this is a P3D problem per se, nor do I think it is a Carenado problem, so have posted here because it is related to P3D and I cannot find any place else to air my problem and seek help. I have purchased many addons for both FSX and P3Dv2.x as downloads and successfully installed them - from Carenado, A2A. Milviz, RealAir, Flysimware, Flight Replicas, Aerosoft, SimMarket, FlightSim Store...and others. A few months ago I bought Carenado's PA31 Navajo, installed it in P3Dv2.4 Flew it awhile and was happy with it. After P3Dv2.5 came out I decided to do a clean install, so deleted P3D completely and started anew. I set about re-installing addons. I had saved the…

I think a long time ago there was a post relating to the issue of how there is no sound change in pulling back the manifold pressure until you pull waaaaaaay back. I thought there was a simple adjustment to fix this. Seems not right to have to pull back to cruise levels before you hear any kind of change. Can someone point me to this fix kindly? Or what would need to be changed in the aircraft.cfg? thanks!

Hello all, I have migrated to P3D and attempted to use the PA31 installer without success as it looks for an FSX installation that no longer exists on my system.I had saved the aircraft folder and nine gauge files from the previous FSX install and copied to the appropriate P3D folders.Everything works correctly in P3D accept the audio panel, there are no hot spots or switch settings functional.Turning reflections off had no effect as suggested on Carendo support. All other avionics are functional and I may have missed a specific file to copy for the audio panel.Has anyone has installed correctly into P3D V3 or is aware of a specific file required? The installer fil…
