A36 Bonanza for FSX | P3D

  1. Started by Bert Pieke,

With the Service Update comes a more capable autopilot. Just a couple of hints:I would recommend commenting out the following lines in the autopilot section of the aircraft.cfg file, so that the aircraft can start up in ROL mode when the autopilot is first switched on. [Autopilot]...//use_no_default_pitch=1//use_no_default_bank=1//default_pitch_mode=0//default_bank_mode=0 If you would like to preselect a target altitude while on the ground, here is how to do it: Push FD to turn on the Flight Director. The AP should display ROL and PIT modes. (Pitch mode is the default climb mode for the KFC225) Turn the Altitude knob with the mouse wheel to select the altitude. If you …

Does anybody know if RealityXP integration for the A36 includes the option to use a single RXP GNS 530 instead of two GNS 430's?Thanks

If you own the Reality XP 430W, you may have noticed that the GPSkeeps sending warning messages to "Set the correct Course".The Aspen PDF automatically adjusts the course display for you,but it does not internally adjust the OBS knob. And, you cannotadjust it manually either...Here is the fix, if it bothers you enough:In the EFD1000_PDF.xml file add a little Update section(I put mine right after the Init section, at the beginning) <Update id="Auto set OBS knob"> <Script> (L:CDISCase, number) 1 == if{ (A:NAV OBS:1, degrees) (>L:Selected OBS1, number) (L:Selected OBS1, number) (A:GPS WP DESIRED TRACK, degrees) - 2 >= if{ (>K:VOR1_OBI_DEC) } (A:GPS…

I am making my first flight with the A36 and flying with the updated version.Ok.. I set AP and yaw damper.. and hit these functions:1. HDG I set an angle in the aspen avionics in magenta "hdg" and it doesn't go to that Heading. Just go always to some angles to the right of the desired one. For example.. I set 85º and the plane goes 129º2. I set Nav mode.. with GPS.. or VLOC mode nav data.. and when pressing it.. it says "arm" and start to make a 360º none stop turn to the right. I have the deviation curse very close.. so I don't know why it says "arm" What I am doing wrong?????

The starter switch on the F-33 works fine but even tho a "hand" shows at the A-36 starter it appears to be non functional. Am I missing something?

The ignition/magneto is operable on the f-33 but is fixed on the a-36. It shows a "hand" but the mouse doesn't turn the switch. I have to use control/3 to start it.

Hi guys, what value do you use for trimming this aircraft at take-off, both on a full load and on a half load of fuel with two people in the plane? I find that you need to trim slightly more if compared to the Bonanza F33... Is that because the F33 has a more aft CG at max take-off weight? I also noticed that @ thrust reduction altitude the A36 tends to mantain the same picth it had before the trust reduction; On the other hand the F33 will picth down in the same situation..., fully loaded. The overall "sim feeling" is one of a more stable aircraft on it's vertical axis. I'm not complaining, I like this plane, I'm just curious to hear your opinions and learn the difference…

Hello, A listing of various issue to the developer intention so that they can correct them : I can't set the radio COM frequency on the first GPS (the one on top) even if I click on the rotary I can only change the last digits, if I try to modify the first digit it only change the NAV frequency always. Lot of tool tips are missing in the VC notably on the various switch of the cockpit and for some of them I have no clue what they stand for, for example does anyone knows what is the aim of the two switch just left of the speed indicator ? The defrost blade switch is not working (can't move it) The virtual cockpit PDF is not correct there is no Aspen avionics in it and it m…

Does anyone else have performance issues with this release? Up to now, Carenado planes have all been easy on the framerates and very smooth on my system.. I noticed the slightly stuttering Aspen gauge and checked my framerates.. not good! On my system 20 fps out of 30 fps locked. Edit: OK - relief, if I push the Map button which removes the moving mapon the HSI, I get my frames back..

Here we are again...the VS function on the KFC224 doesn't work. The display will change, but the unit doesn't alter the pitch accordingly to achieve the desired rate of climb. This has been the case on all the Carenado planes since the F33A (except the Skymaster, which has a totally different AP). Can we please get this fixed?

A question regarding the lower rpm setting. Concerning the economic cruise settings from the manual, I was up to reduce the cruise rpm to 2100 as by this chart. So cruising around 6000ft gives me a Manifold Pressure of 21.0.Once set up, I reduce the rpm but can only reach 2200 as that's the lowest possible setting in the sim (from both gauges, analogue and digital).I can see the VC rpm lever moving further downwards, but the rpm don't reduce some more.I've tried it with the FSX keyboard commands and the prop lever on my throttle. If I raise the Manifold Pressure, this lower limit moves up to around 2300 at full throttle (at that altitude).Don't worry, I'm not trying to fl…

Hi All, I just bought the A36 for FSX. All the RXP GWS 430 and 530 have been installed and operating correctly in non-carenado aircraft. All the RXP interation has been done per Carenado instructions. Most recently I turn on the RXP 430 in the A36 and begins self-test protocol FSX crashes (CTD) every time on the third page into self test. This happens with the new A36 and all the RXP integrated Carenado aircraft ONLY! The 430 / 530 work perfectly well in all aircraft other then Carenado. I've uninstalled, reinstalled and re-confingured the RXP 430 and 530, still not fixed. Any idea what is going on here? Thanks in advance! Billybob

  17. I hope the picture says it all, I get different readings on both instruments.Me thinks that the normal temperature gauge is the right one and the ND shows too low values. Temp on the ground was 32C. ASE showed 32, temp gauge did too, ND hat 14 or so. Whom to believe?

I'm still on my first hours on this new one, so please be gentle. I have the YD announcer and also the 'YD' button on the AP, but I can't active that feature.Just wondering if the A36 has a Yaw Damper since the normal and the V-Tail Bonanza do. Appreciate any pointing in the right direction. Thanks, guys. She doesn't need much rudder at all so far, so maybe my question answers itself there, but from reading, it seems like the YD was an option. And, as a side note, I think Carenado implemented the old fuel switch flaw where your engine "dies" if you switch tanks. The switch should go off-left-right but it moves left-off-right for example.

I noticed that on the ground I can see both wing tip strobes operating fine (All external lights on except taxi and landing lights), but when I reach around 50ft AGL, I can no longer see my pilot side wing strobe from the VC. When I switch to a spot view I can see all beacons and strobes on both sides just fine.. -Damien
