Is FS2crew 747 Voice as good as the 737 version as I know it's older?

Hi guys, I have been running the Maddog with voice commander since it was released and absolutely love it. A couple of days ago I thought I would try a new plane. I would have loved the MD11, but as it didn't have voice, I purchased the PMDG 747 for FS9. After installing it and then installing FS2Crew, I have run into all sorts of problems. I have been trouble shooting for many an hour, and even had to freshly re-install FS9 from Scratch to find the problem. It seems to be linked to FS2Crew. I know this is a stupid question but here goes. I currently have the PMDG B747 Button control version. Do you have to uninstall that version first before installing the Voice Control version? I am running Win XP and FS9. I hope the voice control version works well because I want it for the PMDG B747F as well. I know the button control will not support the freighter. Don Brashears

Hi Bryan, I'm a user of FS2 Crew for PMDG 744X voice and NGX voice for over 6 months now. I've been flying the 744 with FS2 crew the past 10 flights over 2 months and have noticed in last 2 flights that the First Officer is not saying anything during Landing and Shut Down. He normally repeats my flap calls during landing, but the last thing I heard him say was Landing Data Set after passing 10,000 feet. I make my commands and the system recognizes and does them, but with no voice feedback. The FO doesn't say anything until after I land and call for the After Landing Checklist. And when I get to the gate for the shut down, he doesn't say the checklist. I can hear…

Hi I would like to ask is there any way how to stop pushback while in progress as sometimes is hard to know how much and what angle to push . The only think I know is pressing shift+p but that dont give mi a verbal confirm from fscrew /ground about push is complete then somewhere while taxing they comlete pushback and I have to set parking brake again . Perhaps I missed something in manual . cheers Petr

So I installed the addon and I went to the config application everything said "restore" instead of "Set" so i guess it is already set and then i started fs2004 and i click on the compass to bring up the panel but it wont work. I look stupid clicking it waiting for something to happen. Thanks

Have just purchased the 747 Voice version having had the NGX version for a couple of months. One thing different between the two is that whereas locking the main panel in place in the NGX version does not affect the CFG panel, in the 747 version selecting lock means both panels are locked in view. Is there a way of altering this by changing something in a file? The CFG panel is a bit big to have in view all the time. Iain Smith

Hello, i have a Problem with the PMDG 747 400 Queen of the Skies Addon. If i go to the in Game FSX Menue PMDG->Keybord Controls it doesnt open. I become only a short Black Screen and nothing happens. All the other PMDG Menues work fine. I have Windows 7 64bit running. Anyone else got the Problem ? Regards

OK. Just about fed up with the mute voice recognition in the 747 and maddog versions. I have set the mute rec. key via the FS2 config. for both aircraft. Then attempted to set up the same key on my yoke button with FSUIPC (registered). It won't allow it. The keyboard button will work as it is supposed to according to the key I have chosen in the configurator. But I cannot program the same key command into FSUIPC. It will show that its programmed but when I press the button on the yoke, nothing. But if I press the same key on the keyboard, it works. These two planes are the only ones giving me a problem. Hi, right now I'm crusing from Cairo zu Zurich with the PMDG 744F and FS2Crew Voice Commander. Everything works fine so far, but while in cruise I've had a few "ghost voice commands". FS2Crew is on Hard Mute and even my mic is turned off, but a few times the green bar with the voice commands popped up with commands like "landing", "yes" or "checked". Luckily the commands didn't change anything, but it wouldn't be that good, if this commands would interfere with the flight, i.e. changing the autopilot. Is there any solution for it or should I just ignore that?

I am in need of a manual for the FS2 Crew PMDG 747 VC Edition. I have one at home but I am trying to print off the manual at work because it is 60 pages. Can anyone help me fix this issue? I tried copying over the file onto a flashdrive but when I go to open it, it says missing shortcut. Thanks.

Hi this is me second product i have bought i really love the 737ngx voice commander that is why i bought this pmdg 747 voice commander. I don't know if this work on the pmdg 747x i really don't find a big different it just has an x at the end . But am wondering is this anything like the 737 ngx voice commander? Like for example does the FO power on the APU an stuff or do i have to do it manually . Because on the 737 ngx you can see the fo doing tones of work like for example power on apu setting the correct setting as describe in the manual . Hey everyone, I am new to fs2 crew and PMDG stuff, just got it after seeing awsome videos on them on youtube, now I got the 747 voice command edition for PMDG, now whatever I say it does not pick up, on the green bar thing even when I am not speaking it will say stuff like, Captain:Set, Captain: Ready, what does all that mean?, and it does not listen to most of my command, just once or twice when I say gear up/down it will do that, nothing else, I am using an integrated microphone on my laptop, do i need to purchase a sperate headseat with microphone? Any help will be appreciated.

Hello, I just recently purchased " FS2Crew 2010 Voice Commander " for PMDG's 747 and I am loving it so far, but I have a few questions. First question, what does the phrase " You have control " do? Second question, is the first officer able to take-off or land for you at all? Third and last question, is there any ways to reverse roles? For example, I want to be the FO and take orders from the Captain. Is it possible? Thank you in advance, David

When PMDG comes out with their version 2 of the 747, will the current FS2Crew work? Will a fix be implemented? or will a whole new FS2Crew for the version 2 would be required?

Hi I just wonder if FO could possible read weather as in turbolance perhaps wind sheer , The reason I am asking i am using fs flight keeper and fs captain for tracking they both recognize if turbolance present however non of them can use pmdg seatbelt sign , so I was curious as for just enhancement while flying as there is not much happenning from FO site if turbolance detected he could perhaps warn and toggle seatbelt sign on . If I clic on the compass for open the main panel nothing happens. I have try with the 747-400 and 747-800 but the result is the same.May you hepl me?

Hi BrianI am still in the learning curve but from preflight until cruise phase this is quite ok except that I could not manage to have the push back done after the break release.
