Button Control Version

Hi, Why are the landing lights switched off after take off rather than above 10,000 ft? This causes problems with FSCaptain, and FSPassengers. Thanks

Hello,I recently (as in about 5 minutes ago) purchased the button control edition for the J41. When i click on the PF button to put the aircraft into a cold dark state, the systems appear to shutdown, but the engines remain active, though they do not turn the props, the sound they create is still there. If i click the button to shutdown on the overhead panel the sound goes away. Any ideas?Thanks

I just bought a copy of the new button control version and got serious problems. The installation ended without problems, I also saved my configuration with the config manager as mentioned in the manual (I checked the panel.cfg file, also all well here). After starting a free flight with all systems running, I tried to click the wx radar as described. After clicking, my FSX immediately crashes to desktop. I tried this many times on different airports, I also lowerded my details in FSX without any difference. My fps are very good before it crashes, so this can't be the cause. Ans ideas what this could cause?

Hi Bryon. I've just started using the J41 Button Control edition and getting to like it. However, there is something I appear to be overlooking and no amount of searching reveals the answer. After loading the fuel quantity and clicking 'okay' the set fuel quantity appears in the FMC and then rapidly reverts to 5885. Even setting the correct amount on the load sheet makes no difference. The FMC calculates 5885 lbs and shows I'm over weight. For example, if I load 2000 lbs of fuel it momuntarily appears in the FMC then turns to 5885. I don't fly my PMDG MD-11, 747-400/8i, MD-11, or LDS 767 in FSX without FS2Crew.Tonight I picked-up the button version for the J41 (the release must of slipped by me) and all I can say is, WOW! I got through my first flight with no issues and just need a few more to get the flow down without looking at the manual. Thanks a lot Bryan, great product!

I'm at a very early stage with this product, so bear with me, I am still getting out of synch with the proper process and the fault may very well be mine.My understanding is that the FO completes the PMDG weight & balance form (page 17 of the manual). I don't know how he does that, although random numbers within the correct ranges plus fuel from the FS setting would be fine. Is that correct or am I misreading the manual?If so, what actions must be completed by me before he does it? He's not doing it at the moment!

I installed the button version and just tried it once to confirm that all was fine and there were no problems. I noticed that the views of the panel switcher do not match the actual view. I mean that if I select Overhead Panel I get another different one. I think that maybe this could be related to some changes that I made to the aircraft.cfg file to assign F9, F10, F11 and F12 to different cockpit views.Could you confirm, please, if this could be the cause and if you know a way to fix it so the Panel Switcher can work properly?And another question off topic. I might be interested as there are times when I just don't want to "talk to my computer."
