Installed the Button Version in FSX SP2 but after issues with FSX, decided to delete it and go for the Steam version. Question is, does the Button Version work with Steam, if so how, as I have made several attempts to install it? Even got the latest installer from my account. All zilch! Hello, I bought the PMDG Jetstreame 4100 as Button Control and also the Update 2.2 installed. I still have problems with the main panel. For example, i press the FA button, i do not hear any feddback when i click on the greeting from the captain. What can this be ? Thank you for your response. LG Claus

I have a little prob when i try to install v2.2 a box says: "FS2Crew: PMDG Update 2.2 has not been totally installed because of the following reason: Cannot open the following file: C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\FS2Crew2010\Versions\Jetstream\Gauges\FS2CrewPMDGJ41.$$A" What am i doing wrong? I have yesterday bought PDMG 4100 and FS2Crew but can´t figure out why FS2crew do not start when I click in screen as described in manual. I have modified saved setup in 4100 manager and inserted text marked with red panel.cfg, but FS2crew still doesn´t start. I have already FS2crew for PDMG 737, 777 and Aerosoft 320X, and do not have any troubles I hope someone is able to give me a hint //Lars Quick update: Yes batteries switches are on :smile:

Hi, As my question doesn't show up in the forum , I try it again. When I click on the update button on the interface, I get an error message: impossible to connect the server. How to fix this issue ? Thanks in advance

First off, the button version is an awesome product for the PMDG BAe J41. What settings do I need to get this aircraft to show on the online map. I have the PMDG 737NGX button version also, and it does show up so firewall is not the issue. Any suggestions? Thanks. r/s Richard Hardman

Hi Just brought the product last night installed it but it will not work. Checked the Panel Cfg and there are nothing in there to do with fs2 crew. So i did a uninstall and then did a reinstall and still nothing. anyone got any ideas what i am doing worng please?? yes i did read the manual.Thank youTodd

Hi, I bought the button version last night and have been playing around with it. However, although I have managed to get the main button working using the key X, I am unable to get the secondary button to do anything. I have assigned various keys but none are working at all. I am new to this so I may be doing something wrong ? By the way I have downloaded the update and installed that as well. EDIT..All fixed, just read the update 2.2 readme..! DOH Many thanks Keith

Let me first say that FS Crew is the best sim addon (have them all MD-11, 737 and emergency,J41), brings a whole new approach to Flight sims, that being said, it's been a while since i flew the J41, so i totally imersed myself in it (I think its harder than jets), I have done a dozen or so flights now with fs crew , the original pmdg j41 manual says to ready throttles using F2 full reverse, F3 to gradually bring then up till reverse light goes out then start engines which i have done manually without FS Crew on , and starts ok. Doing the same procedure through FS Crew , Ask the FO to start engine 1 he responds to check throttle position long story short I have to hit F…

Hi byork; I would know if the update 2.1 is cumulative. I make this question to know if I need to save the two updates, or only the last, and if, in the future, I need to uninstall / reinstall, I install main installer-> update 2.1 or main installer-> update 2.0-> update 2.1. I would like to use the topic to congratulate you for the excellent work, and to say that today I am a "FS2Crew dependent": before I buy an aircraft, first I see if it is supported by FS2Crew. But please, don't forget us, "button users", in the future.

When I press the weather radar screen I get Error: Invalid XWB path error 0x80070057 Then the control panel opens and everything seems to function fine. Should I worry about this?

Hi Bryan. I,ve tried to update my j41 button control version to 2.1 and come across an unusual issue. I ran the 2.1 installer, selected button control and the install seemed to go ok, however when I launched fs2crew it appeared to be the voice control interface that came up and on checking the installed programs list in the windows control panel it listed both the button and voice controlled versions. I then tried to uninstall the voice control version and got a windows message stating I did not have the required administrator rights to uninstall it despite being logged on as admin! Copyright Manuals Can anyone advise please. PMDG do not supply manuals with their software but offer downloads from their website. These downloads are marked 'Copyright' so my local print shop refuse to print them for me. How are we supposed to read the manual away from a PC or mid flight? Surely, we must be able to print a manual for ourselves?

I just bought the Button version of the J41 after finding the button versions more comfortable to use than the voice ones, and I'm running into a sound issue. I've tried to fly the J41 3 times now and every time this keeps happening. I'll be setting up the flight and the co-pilot will be heard as normal, but I'll forget to write something down or have to look at another window, so I pause and minimize FSX, when I come back there are no voices, the co-pilot doesn't announce that he's doing the walk-around, or coming back from it. By some random occurance when I pause FSX, I will suddenly hear the backed-up voices in succession. After this I try to continue the flight, …

Hi, secondary button-assignments: JS41: "Cabin Alert No Smoking (on/off)" PMDG737NGX : "Propeller Sync (on/off)" Could'nt it be the same (as the assignment for the main button)? Gentlemen, Is there a way within the sound.cfg or .wav tp modify some of the crew responses to checklist callouts?, ie "standby". It looks like the panel switcher hijacks the f9 - f12 views keys. is there any way to restore or reassign these keys so I can get a key command for the locked spot and camera 4? I tried to reassign the keypress through FSX (Options->controls) but I couldn't get either of the views back.Thanks,Chris
