In this video we look at the Swiss Cheese Model of Accident Causation and apply it to the worst-ever air crash in Papua New Guinea - the crash of Airlines PNG Dash 8 flight from Lae/Nadzab to Madang in October 2011. Hope you find it interesting. Cheers.

Hi Everybody, I programed my first switch in Device Interface Manager (DIM) today. The switch is backwards, but should be an easy fix. So it looks like with DIM Flightdeck Solutions hardware will operation in the MS2020/MS2024 environment with the PMDG's 737 airliner. When the flight deck is finished, the end result should be I'll have the ability to fly in MS2020 or X-Plane 12. Outstanding, thanks Mr. Oudoum. You the Man!

Come see how the Allies, mainly the USA, supplied China to fight the invading Japanese in WW2. The airlift supply route involved hazardous flying over the SE tail-end of the Himalayas, hence the name "The Hump". The job was done but not without significant loss of personnel and aircraft. At the time, it was the largest airlift operation in history. Enjoy not only the history but also the flying and scenery as well. Hope you do enjoy. Cheers.

Hi Everybody, I had an issue with the Zibo mod at T/D during my last flight so I want to have a look at Top of Descent today and see if I have the same issue. Todays flight is a Spirit Airlines flight that departs Ft. Lauderdale and arrives in Charleston after we dodge a few storms. A great flight from beginning to end!

Hi Everybody, Today's ride is from Líneas Aéreas Privadas Argentinas (LPLA) to Lisbon Portela (LPPT). I'm testing out some new 2D displays (ZHSI, FDStoXP and Air Manager) so you can keep track of all the flight info as programmed into the CDU and as flown in the simulator. Part 1 of 2

Come visit the Portuguese Azores in the mid-north Atlantic and see how these beautiful islands, although officially neutral in WW2, greatly helped the Allies. Visit the two main WW2 airfields including one kept secret during construction to protect Portugal's "neutrality". See some scenic sights as we fly between the two airfields. Hope you enjoy. Cheers.

Hi Everybody, I decided to (once again) rework my computers, in an attempt to give you as much info about the flight as possible. Today I'm testing the ability to display both the Load Data Sheet and Navigraph's charts via my I-Pad/computer connection thanks to a program called Duet. I have two additional items I want to add to your view, that's the Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) and the Mode Control Panel (MCP). I'm having activation issues with air Manager, I'm in the process of correcting the issue. In contact with Ralph over at Sim Innovations. I hope you enjoy the ride "Take care everybody, I'll catch you on my next ride"

Hi Everybody, While Device Interface Manager is undergoing additional work on the profile creator I decided to take the Zibo Mod out for a spin. I dropped my wife off at the Ft. Lauderdale airport yesterday, she is going to visit family and friends for a week. I was going to run the flight while my wife was in the air, but the heavy rain made it impossible to get back in time. Additionally, based on weather condition, the pilots filed a new flight plane. So today, I now have all the data I need to create the same flight my wife flew yesterday. Hope you enjoy the ride.

Hi Everybody, While Device Interface Manager is undergoing additional work on the profile creator I decided to take the Zibo Mod out for a spin. I'm using the latest version 4.0_RC_2.3 Today I'm in San Juan and we're heading on over to St. Martin. This is an Ameriflight AMflight # 6907. They don't run 737NGs, but I do. 8-) The aircraft is cold and dark so it will take a bit to get her setup. I hope you enjoy the ride.

Come join me in the beaut Spitfire to look at the WW2 Dobodura Airfield Complex, with its 15 airstrips, built by the Americans & Australians in Papua New Guinea during WW2. Learn how the Airfield Complex fitted in to the history of the war when Japan was at the peak of its expansion. Hope you enjoy. Cheers.
