Usually Vatsim is quite monotonous. At times it is even stressful. However, on this particular occasion I really had fun listening to this controller and the pilots' communications.

  12. Hi Everybody, I made my first attempt at completing a full flight, starting from cold and dark, to securing the aircraft on the back end. I'm using the PMDG 738 airliner within the MS2020 environment. My hardware is from Flightdeck Solutions. Device Interface Manager (DIM) performed very well for an early developer version. Aside from a couple of minor issues, there were no show stoppers... well until the show stopping crash that is.... hahaha Take care everybody, catch you on my next try.

  13. Thanks for looking. Herman

  14. Hi Everybody, Just an update on the progress made with Device Interface Manager (DIM). The yaw damper and TCAS issues seen in the video have been fixed. While I wait on the next update (7 segment displays) to Device Interface Manager (DIM), I'll have another look at my throttle quad. Still have to figure out my reverser, fuel cutoff and parking brake issues.

  15. Hi Everybody, Flightdeck Solutions, Device Interface Manager, MS2020, PMDG Just spent the past two days with Nils (over an internet connection) as he debugged a ton of stuff in Device Interface Manager, if you don't have the latest DEV version from today, you may want to update. Those with two CDU's, looks like the screen flashing has been fixed in the latest update. As you can see in the video, the 7 segment displays are complete. Up next, time to try a cold and dark to push and start... and beyond if possible. Tremendous amount of progress made in the past two days. Thanks Nils

  16. Come join me in the beaut Ford Trimotor to fly the classic "Grand Traverse" flight across New Zealand's spectacular alps, glaciers & lakes. Introduced in 1970, this flight continues to be THE premium sightseeing flight in NZ. A little bit of the European alps & Alaska in NZ! Hope you enjoy. Cheers.

There was 20 kts wind and at the same time the visibility was real word not allowed at the time. The weather was simulated from Active Sky. I was shocked and since I was not able to see the RWY I landed automatically. See this vid, it will be curious for you.
