Although quite interesting, a number of people within the aviation community feel that this sequence may be faked. Some of the reasons given are that there are no visible navigation nor landing lights, the crosswind component appears to change significantly between the two final segments shown in this video, and braking appears to be too sudden. You decide ...

Captain Sim's 777 for P3D V2.2 (native installer and a bargain at $40). Very quick video I put together (sorry for the night stuff, but wanted to see how the night lighting looked). And no, I didn't do this flight by the numbers, was just happy I got her fired up and flying and landed without killing my passengers. 100's of animations in this aircraft including wing flex. I haven't tested all the systems yet, but so far this aircraft has exceed all my expectations. My original plan was to land at Vancouver, but the wife wanted to head out to dinner so had to cut the flight short. VAS was good for entire flight and I didn't need to compromise any graph…

Had an engine fire in the Twin Otter ... my own fault, wasn't monitoring them ... had to shut one day. Orbx NCA in SF/Bay Area is still pretty hard of fps, haven't found any magic but since it does look stunning I just endured the low fps. Cheers, Rob.

I think I've come up with some reasonably good settings for Orbx Squamish airport and surrounding area ... loaded P3DV2.2 with some ASN live weather at Dusk/Night. YouTube may take a little time converting it to 1440p, but hopefully it'll eventually get there: These are my dawn/sunset graphics settings: http://robainscough.com/Prepar3D_Setting_Sunset.php These are my Squamish Control Panel settings: http://robainscough.com/Airport_-_Squamish_BC.php What I noticed about Squamish is that enabling grass (could be related to SimObject shadows being enabled) would induce a heavy fps hit. So tried to enable as much as I could and keep a fluid flight expe…

That PMDG will never do a wx radar. Didn't he run for office once? Damm politicians always say one thing and never deliver I used to get annoyed with the ###### quoting it be done when it's ready - but I generally now accept that because most of the factual updates are never right anyhow.
