I'm looking for an experienced scenery developer to produce for me an idea I have for San Clemente Island, 53 miles west-southwest of Los Angeles. I have a screenshot of the proposed development area, however it's quite large and in order to not step on any toes here I have not posted it. The ATP Experience is currently looking for a few dedicated individuals who are interested in being involved with the management and adminstration of a 'realistic' virtual airline. The normal time commitment is expected to be one short meeting per week, and maybe a few hours of work per two weeks. All positions will require higher than normal time commitments for the first month. You will also be expected to set an example to the pilots by participating in at least one online event and completing one flight schedule per month. As time is a luxury, I'm interested in joining with a commuter based virtual airline (flight times 2 hrs or less). Westernair has begun operating charter routes from it's southampton base in addition to those currently operated from Gatwick.The new routes will be operated by a CRJ-900 aircraft recently leased by the westernair group.The new routes will operate until mid october with destinations including:Ibiza, Majorca, La Rochelle, Biarritz and San Sebastian.Westernair will also be expanding its charter operations from Gatwick later this year to offer more flights to the ski slopes.Check out the new routes and aircraft at www.westernair.org.uk

Work continues on California Express as executives now plan to open the airline on September 4th, a full 3 months before it was originally though to be ready to open. The reasons for this was a faster than expected turn around rate on painting the 18 unique aircraft for the fleet, and newly written programming for timing the 70 routes for the schedule. The SGA Boeing 737-300 aircraft were produced with 18 distinctly Californian tail artwork and custom fuselage coloring, from a hot pink for the Marilyn Monroe aircraft to a root beer brown for the City of Los Angeles aircraft.
