17/07/2006 - Southampton, UK - Westernair has announced a deal has been signed with the aircraft manufacturer Embraer for the delivery of two ERJ-170 aircraft. The aircraft should be ready for delivery by the end of august. At a recent shareholders meeting Air Fresno Virtual Airlines announced the switch from a scheduled passenger service format to being a total cargo only format. Recent declines in ridership in and out of Fresno-Yosemite International Airport led to this decision. After a 14 day restructuring Air Fresno is now back in operation with the Boeing 767-200F-ER (PoSKY) flying scheduled service from Fresno to New Orleans, Oakland and Long Beach.
