As seen in a previous post, TexAir still has openings for two qualified Hub Captains, one in Austin (KAUS) and one in Buffalo (KBUF). We have a wonderful new nationwide schedule that features some "less-traveled" airports and our pilot roster is undoubtedly growing. However, in order to execute our plans for the future, we need a full staff on hand. The duties for TexAir Hub Captains are very simple and straight forward:-Moderate the hub's message forum.-Approve/Deny hub PIREP submissions.-Approve/Deny pilot LOAs.-Attribute to the well-being & development of TexAir.-Attend any management meetings/chats that may occur.-Attend any events/fly-ins hosted by TexAir.We have…

intAIRnational virtual is firmly commited to expanding the choice of bases, routes and aircraft for its pilots to fly. Therefore the decision has been taken to offer expansion to two new bases in time for the next summer season. For this expansion we have decided to offer our pilots a consultation process, which will end on 1st February 2007 to allow time for the creation of timetables etc. in time for the summer season (25th March). The poll in the expansion section will end on 1st January 2007 and a new one will be added with the top 5-10 selections from the poll, allowing a fairer and more exciting selection process. We would further to this like to add our fleet expen…

TexAir announced today that due to the lateness of the arrival of the new schedule, effective immeadiately an open experimental flight testing period is operational. What this means is that we will be allowing our pilots to fly to/from one of our new hubs and the destination of their choice within the United States valid for regular hours. Because of this, we have begun recruiting pilots for all hubs now (KAUS, KGEG, KBUF). We have a nice variety of express and mainline aircraft as you may have seen in a recent post. For those of you who missed it, they are: EMB-120 CRJ-200 CRJ-700 MD-83 737-600 737-700 767-300 They are all painted with a beautiful, shiny, bare metal live…
